missed the game due to travel, but it looks like Diontae Johnson made up for his horrible game last week. Nice catch by Cain too, saw the replay

IMO, two biggest plays were:

1. Haden jumping a route and getting a pick that probably would have ended in a scoring possession for the Cards.

2. Murray throwing a pick to Watt in the end zone when it looked like he could have run it in or at least got a 1st down running it.

 

i think Ravens clinch top spot with a Pats lost which means the will concede their game against us.

 

Tomlin called it a fake punt, said we are unashamed and unafraid

 

I was wrong about Tomlin

 

The wife and I have had some somewhat serious health issues the last few years and we have both found that being stubborn with a sense of humor has served us well.

7 of those points were a gift due to a flub up by the punter who panicked on a high snap and tried running with it at the Steelers' 30 yd line and fumbled in the process with AZ recovering. D wasn't ready for this (apparently) and AZ scored after a few plays. So yeah D gave up 17 pts but a gift mixed in there.

Defense got takeaways when they mattered most. The Cards had that one good drive in the second quarter.

It's a gutsy call when it works, it's a stupid call when it doesn't. Or in Tomlin's case, it's a stupid call.

 

this was Diontae's breakout game, he gets the game ball. I liked the last drive even though they did not get a TD. Ate the clock and their timeouts.
Although they only got credit for 4 sacks, I think they tackled little Kyler 5 other times behind the line of scrimmage.
