#39 prevented a disaster on that hail Mary.

 

Fields had a decent half.
Friermuth is average at best.

That pass by Herbert was a hell of a lot closer to a score than Boswell's kick.

 

Two missed sacks in the first half, must get them in the 2nd half. Very happy with both sides of the ball, guys need to make critical catches.

 

Yeah, I've never really been sold on him. That's a bad drop. Pickens needed to catch that one on the last drive, too. plays like that in a game like this can cost you.

We just saw the risk of trying to kick a 62 yard field goal and leaving time for another play.

If Muth could actually catch extremely easy passes, we might have gotten a FG out of that drive.

 

The Steelers need to catch the damn ball. They have had opportunities to be in much better position in this game. Fields has only three incomplete passes, drops by PIckens and Freiermuth and the one he threw away before the field goal attempt. If Freiermuth catches that ball, Boswell has a much more make-able kick. Also, Queen dropped an interception. Those drops are the difference in the game so far.

The Steelers' pass rushers also need to do a better job tackling Herbert. Highsmith missed him on one drive, then Herbig missed on the Hail Mary.

 

That wasn't easy, but yeah, he needs to catch that.
