One of the things that I used to argue when BA was here was YARDAGE does not necessarily mean good. This offense is NOT good, yet Ben is 4th in total yards passing the ball. Granted we are probably dead last in rushing as an offense, but this O is bad and Ben has thrown for a bunch of yards.

    Denver's offense...now that is good.

If Ben doesn't scramble around from a breakdown in blocking, we don't get anywhere. We have two plays on offense:
The slant and the WR screen. That's it.

    Ben, Troy, Kiesel, Miller, Woodley.

5 main reasons we have been in any of the games as of yet. Ben's made his own mistakes but he's been running like a crazy man with no OL.

The rest of the team just stinks it up.

and denver lost their starting LT 2 weeks ago and this backup stepped in and they haven't missed a beat.

houston lost their LT sunday and the backup came in and didn't miss a beat.

our starter and backup are not prepared and cause alot of beat downs.

2 stats matter. Points Scored and Points allowed. We put up a chunk of yards but turn the ball over or kick field goals. Denver's O puts up a chunk of yards, doesn't turn the ball over and scores a lot of touchdowns.

Our D doesn't normally give up the "big play". They let you nickle and dime them down the field then score. Or our offense turns the ball over and the other team has a short field to work with.

This is one of those scenarios where pure stats don't paint a clear picture. Ben has thrown for a bunch of yards, but you have to look at when. Late in games down by a score or two against prvent defenses has a tendency to elevate personal stats.
