As much as I yap about wanting to play teams at full strength to give us the best indication about who we are, I wouldn't mind not having our secondary have to contend with OBJ (ODB for you old folks ;))

Yeah, hopefully he just has a cold or something and is fine. It sucks when we don't have a game.

I don’t think it’s Covid, he would have tested positive before showing symptoms.

Someone effed up bad if it’s Covid.

I'll bet if I got tested every single day I would have had a positive result several times by now especially if I am involved in a full contact sport. I still think it's a very politically motivated numbers game in order to acquire population fear thru the media. Go ahead and hate on me if you want but that is my belief.

Definitely are a lot of question marks floating around all this. We're knee deep into the prevention of it with a LOT of face to face contact with the public. We've avoided any of our employees testing positive while our county has been on the "hot spot" list quite a few times. The place smells like a damned hospital, it's so antisceptic'd. If I were ANY type of germ, I would stay outside our doors. Will be interesting to see if any of us gets the flu this season.

Since when is what a thing? Testing? What do you think the whole purpose of testing is. They test at least 2 times a week, maybe 3. You don’t start showing symptoms that quickly.

We’re all well aware of your position, try and contain yourself.

Average is 5-6 days, hence the testing more than once a week. But you can absolutely show signs sooner. This thing isn't cookie-cutter. Symptoms can manifest within 48 hours.

Can but not likely. I doubt it’s covid. If the average is 5-6 days then multiple tests a week will pick it up before symptoms materialize.

I was listening to an announcer a couple of hours ago who travels with the Cincinnati Bengals and he said that he got tested on Tuesday this week and again today. He said that is pretty much the norm for him and he gets results within 24 hours. Tested negative yesterday and is waiting for his next results before being cleared to travel with the team to Indy.

To my surprise the numbers are incredibly low for positives in the NFL when I listen to the Governors come on TV everyday saying that the general public has new record setting numbers each and every week. If you listen to Ohio Governor Mike Dewine he wants to quarantine 14 days for anyone coming from Indiana to Ohio. Thousands of people live in Indiana that work in Ohio and vice versa.

I know I've spouted my opinion on it, probably too much about this already, but shutting down entire economies for a virus with a 99.6% survival rate just doesn't add up in my opinion. I absolutely feel sorry for anyone who has been affected and even more so if they lost a loved one but we have to come to reality here that people are going to get sick and die be it Covid or some other illness. Depression and suicides are thru the roof and a lot of it is coming from the economic effects of this pandemic.

I apologize if I offend anyone with my views on this.

In California... My current county being kern county, we were told were moving up a tier in order to further open up. We have been deducted tier points due to the lack of govt preferred numbers. Our county suffered because our good numbers were high in the positive range but our test numbers were low?

Outside of corporations, businesses, organizations etc...mandating tests and what not, what more can you possibly do? Our infections are low hence heavier restrictions due to lack of testing? Sorry and I'll too apologize in advance but if my household has no symptoms and it's not MANDATED that we test to go to work, why the the F am I gonna take every one down to get tested? It's all lame and sorry for those actually affected, infected, and so on and so forth but the numbers since day 1 have been coerced, retracted, inflated, retracted ad nauseum depending on your source. Faulty tests, false positives, false negatives in and on... At the highest concerned tier... The gods of the CDC have proclaimed you have a damn near 95% chance of being A ok. The CDC said 6% of these 200k + deaths were actually COVID!

We live in a misinformed world for many a purpose. Is what it is. I'll leave it at that but once again, outside of a checkup you don't go knocking the door down at the docs office if nothing is wrong and I'm not playing politics to boost their imaginary grade of a preferred numbers game. Over it and go STEELERS!!!

Are you guys kidding? You’re like old ladies in a hair parlor that can’t stop gossiping. Enough with this political bs already.

I have extremely strong views on all this and keeping my opinion under wraps, you can too.

    Stick to football.
