Getting my paypal account emptied would be a bigger concern for me than the feds knocking on my door. :smiley1:

    OKAY OKAY

What I find THE MOST HUMOR IN
is .... the title of the thread.

it shows a great reason of why I would be hesitant to purchase JERSYS from one of these sites.
    Like what happened to THORN.
That would be a bummer.Glad he got it fixed but it would still bother me. Right or wrong to purchase I'm all about saving money. Can't think of anything I actually pay full price for these days.

Did bigbunch do this on purpose to prove a point.

I've had a few thousand dollars in fraudulent purchases made during two separate incidents. Admittedly, I've never bought a jersey from CounterfeitChinaJerseys.com, but it can happen. Fortunately I got all my money back after disputes and chargebacks.

Really, I thought for Paypal you basically had to log in and authorize each purchase?
I could see it happening with a credit card though.

Ahh, you know what? Come to think of it, it was my Paypal debit card number that they used.

    ahhh
but just like our country's FAILED war on drugs
maybe they should go after the buyer and small man. the working man looking for a little rush to add to their fandom addiction.
take the demand out of the equation.
it would only make sinse ,bud.

    why pay sooo much for
    soooo little material?

    a thread about threads.
can we revisit the sock thread from last year?

    I wouldn't worry too much.
Next time It would be better to order a few at a time so the price with shipping averages out better.

If you order 6-8 at a time you can get it down to under $30 a piece.

another big guilt in a large delivery with so many purchases would be

how much human trafficking you are supporting or aiding

    Yeah, that makes more sense.
These China Jersey guys aren't out to defraud credit cards. I wouldn't worry about that.

I'm not supporting any of that stuff. That's on them. I'm buying a product. Not up to me to police how or who makes it.

This is my Hoge jersey, can't even tell there was anything wrong with it.

    Hoge.jpg

I've said this in other threads before but I will share my wisdom(what little there is of it)again. I have gotten maybe ten jersey's in the last four years all from these sites. Other than the Hoge jersey above I have had no flaws in them. My last jersey a Greg Lloyd did smell musty like it had been stored in a basement for a few years but after several washes it seems ok. We have a guy at work that orders the jerseys and adds $5 to the price which is fair since he takes on all the risks, so he gets two or three free jerseys with every order. $25 for NFL and MLB $45 for hockey. My Jordan Staal pens jersey has the 2009 Stanley cup patch, the 200 year patch for Pittsburgh and the strap in the back to hook it to your hockey pants. Not bad.

Nope not passing the buck. Just not up to me to police it. are you 100% sure that nothing you own was ever made in a sweat shop?

You guys are going to take this thread into a direction that I'm sure TTF don't want it going.
