that they inspire a rule change where you must have at least 6 or 7 wins to qualify for playoffs. I'm only half kidding.

Scary to think the division winner could be a sub 500 team

Eagles should bounce back, they aren't horrible. I would say the same about the Cowgirls but they look done without Dak.

that depends on Wentz. When he’s played well they’re a tough team.

A record will be broken. A 5 or 6 win team makes playoffs in the NFC East. Carolina 7-8-1 (2014) and Seattle 7-9 (2010) are the only teams to win divisions with losing records.

NFL East will add two wins this week since they all play each other.

I am fascinated by the NFC East. Over the next 6 weeks Washington's opponents are 8-20-1; Dallas' 9-19-1, minus Steelers 4-19-1. Giants' is 8-19-3. Philly's is 4-14 over the next 4 weeks, then play their next 5 opponents are 20-7. In week 13 the NFC East plays teams that are currently a combined 19-2.

The Giants play 5 teams that are currently 4-2 or better. Dallas and Washington play only 2 teams each with current winning records the rest of the season. Non-division opponent records: Washington 19-13-1; Dallas 15-13-1; Giants 23-11-1; Philly 20-7. Dallas could win 5 more games, so 7 wins is possible for the division.

The Eagles should blow out the Giants tonight.

But I’m hoping for a miracle and a Giants win.

One of the sports show hosts was touting this yesterday. Could happen, and probably should. I understand making the division winner meaning something, but I would even go as far as 8-8 and giving the home game to best non division winning team.

8-8 or better for a division winner to host a home playoff game? I like it.

This may be some of the worst offensive performances I’ve seen in a while.

Actually last year was pretty bad for Steelers.

Dude starts stumbling with 15 yards to go and no way anyone is going to catch him and tackles himself.

After the incompetence we had to watch from the Steelers offense last year, I have a hard time rustling up any sympathy.
