    Good morning all. I am new this morning but I hope to contribute to the forum. I grew up with the Steel Curtain teams and My Uncle played 12 years for the Steelers....so it is in the blood!

    This is reminiscent of Pimply Dan - one provocative captivating post......then crickets. :sleepy: Will we still be guessing 10 years from now? I'm sure some statistician could whittle it down by determining how many players remained Steelers for the specified number of years. :shrug:

    Well all, My uncle was George Tarasovic. He was 2nd team all PRO the year I was born. He passed on a year ago.
    So anyway, I am a life long Steeler fan looking forward to tomorrow.

    Yes I am . Left a million years ago back before the Dynasty. My Dad had season tickets from 1946 till 65 when we moved to Cali near Pasadena.

    Yeah I know. Sorry about that slang. But I'm also the one who calls Pittsburgh "Pgh". So there's that. However, it will always be just "Frisco" to me and will never use the term "the OC".

    Frisco doesn’t bug me but, when people call it Dago instead of San Diego.......... My town is regularly referred to as “Klantee” or “Santucky”

    Did not know that about your hometown and I've even stayed at the local Best Western a few times in the past. BTW, the smoke has finally cleared the valley floor a week ago and has been amazingly beautiful with Fall foliage in full action, one of the things that attracted me to this area since the Joshuas in the HD don't change colors much. LOL.
