New Era taking over NFL Hats

Actually just took a look at the hats and it seems to be New Era is going to produce both. There are some pretty cool versions that fit my style which is the bent bill option. I am going to try some on before making a purchase though...

 

So true. The flat bill look is ridiculous. I have to agree with Aerosteel as well. Only the nerdy kids who had no clue wore their hats with a flat bill when I was growing up. That's why I can't understand kids wearing them that way now.

I ordered one last week from steelers.com (bent bill type) The New Era hats run larger than the reeboks did. So if you cant try them on order a size smaller than what you had from reebok. I wore the L/XL in reebok but it was too big and to return it for the M/L. Love the hat though. It's a great fit and wears really comfortable.

 

Anyone I've ever seen wearing a flat billed hat looks cognitively impaired.

 

Yeah not a fan of the flat bill at all. My hats go through a "molding" inside a beer mug for at least a week before I even think about wearing it. I have a Steelers breast-cancer awareness one that I need to wear out before I get another Steeler hat.

 

The 39thirty hat by new erea ( folded brim ) is actually the first hat that i got that the brim was molded like i like it. I cant stand the flat brim hats at all myself. makes you look a goofy fu, well you get it.

Just ordered this today off of ebay $31.00 total with shipping,, i wanted the training hat but in black with gold stitching,,my wish came true . the white training hats are nice but they'll get dirty in no time

ya the white ones are nice I'm just worried about it getting dirty too quickly. Whats size is yours people are saying with the new era they fit bigger than Reebok's . I normally buy L-XL, but ordered the M-L since I've read you should go a size lower .

 

i don't know about that. my son got me the m-l and he had to take it back and got me the L-XL. of course with the big brain......

 

Ditto. I got mine online in M-L but had to send it back and get L-XL. It's a sharp looking hat for sure.

 

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person who likes to bend the brim of their hat. I have a son who wears the flat billed hats and we go round and round about how a hat should be worn. I would have never, in all my life, thought that I would have an argument about how a hat should be worn but once again I am fortunate enough to have children that remind me how stupid I really am. You "older" guys like me I'm sure you all appreciate the kids, not only wearing the flat billed hats, but also how they pull them down to their eyebrows and sometimes wear the hat over their ears. All things that would have got you beat up when I was a kid. Speaking of which...I need to go kick my son's butt for something!

 

And don't forget slightly cocked to the side.

 

And their pants down to their knees with there undies show. NO THATS FREAKIN COOL lol

Just got the hat today, the M/L fits.... ( just got my haircut 3 days ago so maybe that helps)
