DE/OLB of Utah 6/3 251 lbs, would you want the Steelers to draft him at #22?

Idk much about him really... I dig the kid from UCLA. As long as whoever we draft at OLB has a good combo of rush abilities and edge setting against the run, I'll be happy.

Orchard really turned it on this past year and has been showing well at the Senior Bowl. I watched the tape on Utah vs UCLA. He got caught inside and didn't set the edge on more runs than not. He seems to be more of an accomplished pass rusher than run defender at this point, but that could be said of many prospects. I like the guy, #22 may be a touch high imo right now. I would like to see some more game films when they come out.

With regards to the guy from UCLA, Oh-diggy-wa-hoo, or something like that, lol. Is he the one that has consecutive years of surgery on his shoulder?? If so, I'll sure the FO will do their due diligence. Same with Kikaha from Washington and his medical issues.

**two separate surgeries on his left hip, not shoulder

Excerpt from an interview with Orchard:

In meeting with 4-3 teams, do they look at you as an end or outside linebacker?

"End. A lot of teams say they want to play me wherever I'm best at. I've had my hand down on the ground for 10 years, so I think that's where I'm best at."

What is your best position in the NFL?

    "Defensive end. For sure."

    What about 3-4 defenses?

"That wouldn't be a problem to transition to that."

Who are some of the teams you've met with thus far at the Senior Bowl?

"Every team I guess you could say. All 32."

Seems like he would be willing to work in both defenses.
