It's very tough to understand criticism of Najee, imo.

a) he's leading the entire NFL in touches
b) he's second to Jonathan Taylor in biggest % of a team's total yards
c) he plays nearly every snap, a true 3 down back who can run, catch, and pass protect
d) he has yet to fumble in his NFL career. Not once.
e) he doesn't shy away from contact
f) he's done all this behind a crap OL

You can argue how he's been used, I guess, but it's difficult to criticize the man's effort and production itself.

 

He's only 33 yards out of second in rushing. And with Mixon playing for nothing and Chubb "injured", there's a real good chance he finishes the year there. He's also fourth in the NFL in yards from scrimmage, behind Taylor, Kupp, and Deebo.
And there will still be people on here complaining that he was overdrafted.

 

Steelers needed a damn running back. They had ZERO. They got him in the late 1st. He was the right pick.
