Najee Harris on pace for 705 rushing yards this season

Glad to see the steelers FO and coaching staff commit to getting a better run game...

Steelers in dead last in the league for rushing yards per game at 57. Picking right up where they left off last season. Is anyone actually surprised by this?

 

They had AB, Manny Sanders (who was basically DJ at that point), and Jerricho Cotchery.

Ben was better and the OL was better.

The problem with the O now is that Ben is severely limited in what he can do and every defense knows it.

 

It was an infantile drafting strategy by an outdated, pouting front office, and that was panned around the league for reasons that are becoming obvious.

 

Exactly. Projections are things the talking heads use to fill air time especially after just 2 freaking games. No one knows what anyone will eventually do until they do it. For some reason, I think this offense is like a snowball starting down a hill. The longer it goes (and develops), the bigger and better it will get. This is a definite maybe and a projection of my own.

 

najee is averaging 4.065 yards per touch including the passing game.

 

He needs 61.13 ypg to get to a 1000 yards

Math is not my strong point but it was the best 7 years of my high school life

 

he will suck b/c our O and OLINE suck. I said not to draft him, to take Jenkins. Time will tell.....

 

You can see the talent . The offense around him does him absolutely zero favors

 

This is like saying chandler Jones will have 85 sacks after game 1 lol

 

I still think Najee will turn it around this season when Ben quits with some mysterious injury.

Once we can get our QB under center in Canada's offense the running game will take off.
