Probably why they cut Banner, needed to clear some more cap space.

Let's remain calm we have been assured the team will suck this year. Nothing to see here move along.

I wouldn't count on it, he will probably want at least 10 million a year, and they might give Minkah a new contract this summer. That would be too much money at the safety position IMO.

If we don't sign the Badger, then let's take Lewis Cine from Georgia in round 2.

Most mocks have him in round #2 but that could mean that he could go at the beginning of the second round. I hope not.

Glad I am not the only one thinking this.

George Pickens is also appeasing in Round 2 should JuJu go. However, I do believe Pickens can be had in Round 3. I personally doubt Cine lasts that long.

As I said before and will again; as far as Strong Safeties go, Lewis Cine is the best bet not named Kyle Hamilton. His ball skills are not adequate but unlike Terrell, there is a rock solid foundation here for him to get better. Outside of Jalen Pitre and Nick Cross, there is not a more suited STAR for the defense than him.

    I guess I'm not far off. I thought a late 1st round.
Hell what do I know though.

    I do.

Strong Safety mainly right now. Ball skills can be developed but are not sufficient enough to assist a Defense early on in his career. Biggest weaknesses are the more finite aspects of man coverage (something he did not do too often) and can be over aggressive when coming downhill.

Daxton Hill has a better shot of being in Round One for he provides what Lewis cannot; ball skills. Daxton is very adept at making plays on the ball; his instincts augment his overall skillset the same. However, a good DC needs to decide where Hill will play first before moving him around.

My guess is that he mainly plays as a Single High Free Safety. Move him to the slot every now and then once he develops a bit more. Profit soon thereafter.

I’m telling everyone who will listen, Kyle Hamilton is too risky for a Top 19 pick.

He was Jagoffs leading tackler. Didn’t we get their leading tackler last year?
