His rib injury was affecting his passes obviously. I still like what I see in his competitiveness alone.

 

And I finally have the answer to why I get acid reflux.

 

Why does Bobby wrigley April still have a job? Idiot takes fair catch inside the five after a punt with four minutes left . We go down and score, up by four with a minute left. Another idiot commits a Personal foul , short kick off gives the Titans the ball around mid field.
I couldn't help thinking I wish the Titans QB was ours.

 

Maybe in the game thread somewhere but don't see anyone talking about the putrid short KO's by Boz last night. Was that intentional? Why? Can't remember - were they backed up by a penalty on the last KO where the guy caught it on the 20 and made it to the 48? All very strange.

Yes Najee should be able to power it in but our line hasn't been stellar by any chance so how about a little deception, like maybe a two back set, just to give the defense something to think about.

Here is something No Warren should start over Najee people ever say. They use the miss direction of Najee to get Warren about two big carries a game, but they never do the opposite....Hmmm. I wonder why this is???? Could it possibly be that the D is flowing where Najee goes??? Also at one point in this game Najee had almost a 9 yard per carry average, but when You are using Him for 3rd down, and short carries like they do....of course the D knows who's getting the ball., and He was still get the tough 1st downs. Everyone b!+ches about running the wheels off a player, and We finally get a great one two punch at RB, and then they b!+ch about that now. You can't win with some people...LoL

 

That is why the Wildcat was so stupid. It cuts down on their options.

 

To be fair, it might also be because they need the quicker back to take advantage of the misdirection.

 

We have. About two big runs a game are coming from the Deception of Najee getting the ball, and they give it to Warren. Notice they are not doing it in the reverse....why??? Because they watch the tape....they see who the D is flowing, and mainly staying with. So it wouldn't do them any good to do the opposite. I said to Myself on one of Warren's big runs last night .....Myself....watch how many people will say wow what a big run by Warren, but will not even notice the misdirection of the play too Najee.

 

They do have misdirection that ends up going to Najee. They fake end arounds, they ran a wildcat play with a fake snap to the WR (false start stopped that). They just do have misdirection where the ball goes to Najee. The reason you don't see a similar run that Warren sprung (the end around on 3rd down) that goes to Najee is because that isn't what Najee is good at. Nearly all of Najee's bad runs are when he gets going east and west. He's too slow and not explosive enough for that.

Najee is very tough though and we finally ran him downhill from under center so he can get a running start before getting the ball and it worked. That's his game. Going straight forward he is tough to bring down. If he hits the hole before getting hit he will gain at least 3-4 yards. We need to stop running him out of the gun.

I'm glad we have both. Personally I'd give Warren the ball 16 times and Najee 11 instead of the other way around, but if they split close to 50/50 and it works, why change it? Broderick being in the game was a game changer for the run game and I hope they keep him out there.

 

I said they have misdirections for Warren off of Najee, but they don't have any misdirections for Najee off of Warren......I never said there wasn't any other misdirections. LoL

Agree wholeheartedly! I’ve never been a fan of coordinators being upstairs in a nice comfy booth while the players are down on the battlefield.

I actually see both sides. There have been great OCs in both styles, but if it's not working....You must do something. Hell for all We know....He might end up liking it better this way.
