Tomlin himself has referred to the "hot hand" before, and I believe for whatever reason Warren does more with his opportunities. I'm not sure if it's running style, skill set or desire, he looks better to me than Najee. Not just last night, for a minute now like I said.
If a split backfield is the best thing for this team to win, then I am in favor of that. Najee did not have a "bad" night. Had some nice runs and managed to score. The drop in the 4th quarter was terrible and at a critical time.
All I know is Jaylen Warren has been laying it down whenever and wherever he gets the chance. He been faster and more decisive. I'd like to see him get the lions share of the touches for a few games now and see how that goes. I know they won't because of loyalty and who is in front of him on the depth chart.

Great analysis! While once again, Kenny did not put up passing yardage...we out rushed the Derrick Henry led Titans! An improved running game raises our chances of winning games exponentially!

Yeah that throw was not good. Agreed. Austin had to slow up and cut to his left in order to even attempt to catch. A linebacker should not be that close to Austin given his obvious speed.

Maybe, I hope so. But did you see him pick Dionte up after the TD? I mean if your ribs are hurting, why are lifting a grown man?

True.. Good point. We are looking at a 20 game QB. Hopefully KFP continually develops.

I correct myself. They're ahead of the Bills because the Bills are 1 and 2 in their division and the Steelers are 2 and 0.

The linebacker did a nice job to be that close, but if Pickett throws it further and a little to the right instead of the left, it is an 81-yard touchdown.

Agreed, JP Jr, B Jones, Highsmith, Watt, Minkah, Holcomb, Pickens, Warren, and Boz are the bright spots on the team

KP is still a work in progress

I don’t care if the offense looked a little better this game, Canada needs to go, any system that has been bottom of the league and needs this much time to sort of look half way decent for a game or two is not worth keeping. Did we hire a high school coordinator who is starting to learn the pro system and call a good game here or there? I’m starting to believe the rumors that Tomlin is keeping him around for a personal favor.

As bad as he has been at times....I still see enough positive to have hope. (Less than I had to start the season...but not totally dead yet! LOL)

If you are a leader you don’t walk by a teammate and leave him in the ground

the missed throw to Austin was awful , again, another BIG opp missed, he does this with regularity, like last week, missing Pickens on a big play on the sideline.

this is why we don't score many points.

It wasn't helping him up off the ground. He picked him up in his arms in celebration.

It is far from the only reason. There have been many issues on offense this season. Last night was different. With the exception of Pickens costing them a touchdown by not even trying to drag that second foot in bounds, Pickett was the problem.

That isn't the same as trying to throw a football, which requires torque in his core and is more likely to aggravate the rib injury.

During the game, my bro texted the exact same thing as I was typing it to him.

What sucks about Holcomb is that it was from his own guy. I know not on person but man your own guy!!

Jones seems like he is the only guy to get into the second level of blocking.

It isn't ridiculous at all. Harris is the more powerful back. He should be in there for goal line situations. I think it was Simmons, one of the best defensive tackles in the league, who blew up the first-down play. Then they got stupid and ran the Wildcat.

Division records don't mean a thing and isnt a tiebreaker versus non division teams. Steelers are ahead of the Bills because of conference record.

He was also being hit by 300 lbs linemen all night. He fought through it.

It's called guts, adrenaline, and meds.

Yes, the perfect throw was just outside the hash to that side, leading him away from the LB. It wasn't a horrible throw. The coverage was good enough that a very good throw was necessary to beat the LB.
