Break it down....if they get 21 on 2nd, and 20....they will more than likely get 30 with 2 extra shots.

No it shows that $hit happens, and that we were without 2 key D players....in a place that 4 HCs for the Steelers haven't won at since 1965.
Yet somehow some of the people on here are able to twist it into a Tomlin thing....Yet neither Noll , or Cowher have won there.

Yes, context matters and skews some stats a bit. Especially INTs that often shouldn’t go against QBs. This one is similar - Russ put it in a good spot.

BUT, this one is unique in that I kind of an agree with it in a weird way. While you are correct that it will be discussed, and a fumble, and against Naj, I don’t agree that it’s a fumble. He never secured it. It’s more of an incomplete pass. The ONLY difference is that it was backwards and not forwards.

 

This has been a problem for years, our DC's have been afraid to challenge the db's to hold up. That's why we give up so many 3rd and longs.
