Hell..... at this point, why not?! Play for the Draft Capital. It isn't like the Offense is going to magically get better with him by great leaps and bounds anyways.

My thoughts on week 15 are the same as week 14. Tomlin sucks.

Mike is making decisions like he still has the 2008 team, he needs to adjust his expectations.

    Why wouldn't they?!

Keeping Matt Canada for as long as he and/or AR II did is inexcusable. That isn't just the only problem but it still is one helluva big one. Kenny is likely the next big problem but my biggest issue with him is having someone like Matt Canada as his OC is way too inconclusive as it stands.

Currently though?! Kenny does have clutch capability but is severely inconsistent himself. One more chance to prove himself in 2024. If not?! Jettison his ass; Tomlin right behind him the same.

    A fitting end indeed.

Can you imagine we all are sitting here next year and KP and the team is still a full dumpster fire in Tomlins last season. Cam is washed up, TJ and Minkah have more miles on them and then you have to go find a new QB. At that point you have a fire sale. I pray to God that doesn't happen but in some ways it won't be surprise if that happens. It will be brutal and painful to endure as its the one thing I look forward to in the fall of every year.

    .

Should that happen, as you said, wholesale purge. Again, why the hell not?! A Coach has been fired for the first time since WWII.

Why stop there if that is the case?! Blow the damn thing up to Timbuktu by that point. I would rather have great players like Minkah and T.J. Watt earn rings with other teams than toil in agony here.

I think I realize now why this is happening, the complete sell out to Acrisure from Heinz. They got greedy and should have kept it Heinz Field. Hopefully its not the start of a long curse for the sacrilege they have committed.

It’s like the William Penn curse!!!

Quick, someone bury a Heinz 57 bottle on the 50 yard line to exorcise the evil spirits!

Disagree with your thoughts on the Kazee hit. Other than that spot on.

Tomlin has the same look on his face that Cowher had his last year. Look of utter defeat. I can see him pulling a rabbit and beating the Ravens, but he will then ride off into the sunset.

Even if Pickett is ready, what’s the point? Our D is so beat up that they can no longer make up for weaknesses with the offense. Let’s see what Mason has and make the decision if Trubisky stays or go

BTW, what’s the word with Minka?

In real time it looked to me like he was going for the int and they just collided.. but looking at the replay, he totally threw his shoulder in it and was going for the hard hit.....
In the NFL that I grew up with, that's just good hard nosed football... but these days you get labeled as dirty

I mean, they lost 3 safeties in this game. Combined with the middle linebacker injuries how is anyone surprised?

    13. No it’s not. He has to decide if Mason is going to start next week. If there was a chance to get another offensive series you do it. That being said, it’s clear why Mason doesn’t play. He’s as bad as I remember.

You can't possibly believe that. He gave him 48 seconds with no timeouts and then proceeded to let the O.C. call two running plays. Rudolph is a veteran who knows this offense. There was absolutely nothing gained from those two plays and could have put the players at risk of injury for no reason at all.

This team stinks. Until they fix the offensive line, they will not improve the offense.

Fire every offensive coach. Hire from outside the organization.

Draft a center, bring in a vet.

Replace right guard and right tackle.

Move Jones to the left side.

Do not resign Mitch. Bring in a veteran backup that can make starts.

What the hell is a 48 second drive going to show him about Rudolph that he doesn't already know? You spin it how you want. That was just bad look at the end of that game.

Thompson wasn't out long, but injuries have devastated the middle of the defense. Khan did a hell of a job fixing the middle of the back seven when he signed Holcomb, Alexander, Roberts, and Neal. Once Kazee was ejected and Fitzpatrick got hurt, only Roberts remained and the Colts took full advantage.

No way bro, Mason handed the ball off twice so if he really wanted to see, he would have had him pass to see if he would make go throws and good reads. Handing the ball off isn't a QB evaluation.

It was tough to evaluate anything from his short appearance. As I mentioned on the game thread, we did get a reminder that he sucks at intermediate sideline throws. The one he attempted wasn't even close.

The team was 7-4 and it looked like it was at least going to go to the playoffs with him in there. He needs to be better, but we got a good look at why they didn't consider benching him when he struggled earlier in the season.

Mitch is under contract for next season, they shouldn't bring him back though, if a backup QB can't help you win games then why is he on the team?
