The Steelers are not a good football team. Yet. But... despite not being s good football team yet, they are at 2-1. Just keep building week after week.

Thats exactly what we saw with Najee, there simply isnt anywhere to run, some people knocked Najee for that. What we have and have had since Munchak left, is a bad offensive line, call it poorly coached or whatever, its the same old story, same old song and dance!!

I'm not misunderstanding at all. That comparison suggests Harris didn't fight as hard for yards as Warren. That is a positive or Warren, but a negative for Harris.

One observation, Derek Harmon does make a difference.

Looking at the upcoming schedule, it scary.
I see no more than 8 wins.
Losses to Minnesota, Cle once , Bal , GB, IND, LAC, BUF, and Detroit.

He is not a nose for sure. That's Blacks job now.

Thanks for the analysis as usual blackandgoldpatrol

Didn't see the game as I was moving. grabbed a quick takeout at my watering hole and watched a few minutes and saw the Metcalf TD!

Will see if NFL Network has a replay after I get my TV up and running.

A win is a win but Minnesota is not going to be a walk in the park. Breakfast with a Steeler game! Steak and Eggs!

Good luck with the move, moving is a drag!

Offense is going ot struggle moving the ball on the Vikings. Need to get the TE room more involved. They talk about how great it is and it’s barely been noticeable so far.

Where was Harmon in the 2nd half? I thought he was benched or aggravated his injury.

    For sure

    This was huge and
many here saw the same and it's so frustrating. This is where our coaching is weak. Why can't they see this.

I was also concerned that he had aggravated the injury because I didn't notice him out there in the second half.

It just feels the same as every year. 9/10 wins and a playoff boat race. We win so many games by smoke and mirrors against other average teams.

That could very well be how this season goes, but I would like to see the defense when everyone is healthy before I write off 2025. Much of that depends on Porter. There are rumblings he will go on IR, but if he doesn't and can return after the bye along with Elliott, that would make a huge difference.

If that's what you took away from that tweet, I don't know what to tell you some fans just enjoy a win. Fans like you and 43 just like to be miserable all the time .

I don't think they're using Ramsey like they would like to right now without Porter Jr. and Elliott.

Agreed. I think we will see more of him in the slot once they get Porter back.

Not really... I think that's some rose colored glasses. Not every one was a clear "give away", but the first one was really weak. Holcomb barely touched his hand and he coughed it up. The one on the goal line was a pretty good play by Heyward in a last ditch effort to punch at it, so I can give you that one. Gibson's fumble wasn't even a strip, Peppers hit him and he just fumbled. The last one by Maye was just horrible decision making. Who tries to throw the ball when 3 dudes are hitting him at the same time? I get that it got knocked out and was a good play on a sack, but that was just a young guy making an error. He should take the sack and live another day. It was only first down. With how easily we were giving up 3rd and long, there was no reason for him to panic in that situation.

Based off advanced stats the line was 18th in pass blocking and 17th in run blocking last year.... 13th in overall block win rate. That equates to a very average NFL line. What about the line has looked NFL average the first three weeks? We simply ran it better last year because we blocked it better last year. The YPC will go up once we block it just a little better. When the crease is there it equates to a big play 10+ yards at a better clip than last year. We just need to make more than one or two holes a game. One will break soon enough.

Miserable or realistic? I’m happy they won and hope they will improve but this is not a good football team right now.

    Defense was awesome
Offense is trash outside the redzone

Running game is not good at all right now.

I don’t think Warren get’s 1,000 yards unless we come out with our pants on fire after the bye.

    Glad to get the W.
