-Yes, the pass rush, in particular is THAT BAD. Keisel should not be our second best defensive lineman. No pressure = no mistakes/turnovers by the offense. We will continue to be unreliable on defense until we get new pass rushers. People blaming Harrison....do you really expect an unretired 36 year old to come in and suddenly make your pass rush good in his first week? He did however show signs that he could be a bigger contributor in a couple of weeks, which is a good thing.

-The above point ^^^^ is the reason why we lost yesterday. ^^^^^

-The team was sucking until Wheaton made that great 31 yard Ward-esq snag to keep that drive alive in the first quarter. Wheaton has really impressed me this year by stepping up and providing a quality second receiver option. I have trust in him to make a clutch catch, more-so than I had in Sanders and Wallace. And he will continue to get better.

-Bell is great, but stop running up the middle! Our offensive line is not powerful enough on the interior to handle defensive tackles. So stop it! Use pulling and sweeps to your advantage, as Pouncey and DeCastro are great at that. But stop running up the middle like they always did with Parker and Mendenhal!

-The secondary is garbage, but we can still have a good defense with them if there was any form of a pass rush. Mitchell is so far, to me, a bust. I would rather have an ancient Ryan Clark over him. I would rather have a Will Allen over him.

-Ben missed a few throws, but all QBs do. He had a solid performance. He was not the reason we lost. We had a dropped TD by both Browns and Beachum let Ben take a beating resulting in that early fumble. Those three plays turn this loss into a blowout win.

-Beachum s better than Adams, but that doesn't say much. I am the biggest detractor of Adams on this board, but I admit that there was a period in yesterdays game that I was thinking that I would like to see what Adams could do over Beachum. We need a real LT. Beachum is not a real LT.

-I might be in the minority, but I never felt like the penalties were THAT BIG of a deal. Most came at times where it didn't really matter, like on a kickoff. I could be completely wrong, but I felt we should still have easily won the game even with the plethora of penalties. Obviously they should not be happening, but I disagree with Tomlin in that they were the reason why we lost. The Brown drops and the Beachum failing were really why we lost.

-The 49ers were in thew same exact position we were at the end of their game against the Eagles. They had a 5 point lead and the ball with 1:40 left in the 4th. The ran on all three downs like we did and failed to get the first down. The Eagles expended their timeouts and got the ball back with a little over a minute left. The 49ers however were able to pressure the Eagles and forced them back, along with a few penalties. They held the Eagles and won the game, because they had a pass rush. Even with all of the offensive miscues that we had, we could have easily won the game had we had a pass rush. This is the biggest weakness of the team and needs to be addressed before we can even begin to think that the defense will be able to come through in the clutch, and close out a game.
