My meager prediction...

(Barring any major injuries) If the Steelers hold opposing teams to 3.5 ypc or less for the season, they win the AFC North and play in the AFC Championship Game.

 

Anyone think the ypc figure is plausible given the preseason performances thus far?

 

It's hard to do that with 10 yard cushions by the CB's.

 

if my aunt were a man she'd be my uncle... will the steelers hold the opp teams to 3.5 ypc or less .. probably not since they are averaging over 1 full yard over that ... so thats probably 95% NO ... will they win the AFC North 33.33% chance .... as do the ravens and bengals.. and the other .01 is the chance the clowns have ..

Yes, as previously posted (TTF), more Sacks more TOs.

Shazier got a pretty nifty INT the other day and Jones a sack.

I'm looking for big #s in these areas this year and starting game 1.

 

also keep in mind that we're running a vanilla pre-season defense....... when the real season starts, expect to see much more confusion created by the defense...
the holes that are there in pre-season will not be there when it's for real

 

Not much of a prediction when you use the word "if."

I will say though that I'm not overly concerned about YPC. What I want to see is more sacks and more turnovers. If we get those, we'll be okay.

 

Let's just hope that the Browns start Johnny Football game 1
