I will have my final mock out later today. In my last mock, I had the same #1, #2 & #7. I'm still grappling if Jones & Woods will be available when we draft. If this did play out, I would be happy with the first 4 picks. Each round is good value. Good job!

Partially that and his work ethic. I spent teh last 17 years living in Georgia and always heard about him clowning around. The biggest thing for me is to finish building the offensive line and win while we still have a franchise qb. Things might change offensively in year two with Haley, but it appears that we are going to be a run first team. To do that effectively we need a very good offensive line. Foster is a capable guard, but he's not dominant by any stretch of the imagination. If they can't get Cooper or Warmack(2nd choice) in the first I would like to see them try to trade back 6-8 spots and pick up an extra 3rd and 4th.

My ideal first 3 picks would probably be Cooper/Warmack, WR in 2nd, and either Bell or a safety(I like wilcox) in the 3rd. That should leave us with a solid interior offensive line that can drive and is mobile. A starting rb and a solid WR. People complain about using another high draft pick on the oline, but that's where it all starts.

While I can sympathize with improving the offense, whether be adding a Guard or a TE, what I really think is that we need a defense that can get of the field on third down? Easiest way? Guys that can sack the QB on 3rd down. Best Answer? Jarvis Jones. I think he is gone before #17, most do not believe that to be the case. I hope I am wrong.

I like this mock and the guys you have us taking in 3 and 4 are the same as my mock (although I had the rounds reversed). If we don't trade down and Jones is there, I hope he's the pick at #17. Top 5 talent at #17 I'll take any day of the week.

More anecdotal "facts" (I always heard...) to build the case against Jones. I will say this, if clowning around leads to him getting 28+ sacks in 2 seasons, all those tackles for losses behind the line of scrimmage and all of the turnovers he created, I'm willing to start calling him Bozo now. If he gets those kinds of results for the Steelers, he can paint his face white and wear a big red nose and over-sized shoes for all I care.

I might agree with you, but this came from friends connected to the UGA football program. It may be the New South, but it's still the South and who you know goes a long way.

I am beginning to really like how this draft could turn out, and I think it is all driven by the lack of high end QB talent. You have guys that most of us on here are saying....will be gone in round 2....who are easily going to make it to round 3. Talented guys. Guys that are on the cusp of being able to contribute like Jones. There are talented Offensive players just hanging out there waiting to be picked up.

Funny how you're suddenly connected to the UGA program as the last time we had this conversation you referenced an espn article.

Ring the bell... 2 for 3
I think that we targeted a couple of safeties in the 4th round - Phillip Thomas and Shamarko Thomas. If one of them is still available at our selection they will be the pick, IMO. Although Barrett Jones would be a steal here if he continues to drop..
