I think Chuckie is a beginner here

He lost me when he took a receiver in the first

Chucktown was the site manager from the now defunct Steelers Addicts site. He did a pretty good job as the administrator but he ran a tight ship. Probably too tight as the site went belly up.

Yeah drafting Addison isn't an off the wall thought. Here in the Pittsburgh sports media the possibility is talked about a lot.

I agree it's not off the wall, but it should be with just all the D players We are likely to lose.

Maybe. We may not lose many if any or gain some. We will have to wait and see. Sign masse and sutton and we are in decent shape with wallace, maulet and Norwood and pierre. We have a couple of young guys as well. Witherspoon is still here too. If healthy, he's not worthless. Riley, Killebrew, dawson, Madre Harper, scott nelson, Kenny robinson, Chris Wilcox, carlins platel, minkah. We could get lucky with one of two of them. Jackson isn't gone yet either.

Jordan Addison at #17, no. At #32? Depends on what needs we fill at #17 and via free agency, and what the board looks like at #32. If Addison is there at #32, I could definitely see good value there.

I’m all for reserving pick #17 for a corner or a LT if a good LT makes it there.

This draft is shaping up to be interesting. Could likely find a solid LT at 32 and CB at 49 and then a DL in the 3rd and all be day 1 starters with our #1 being a luxury pick. The only thing missing in this scenario would be ILB. FA will be a tell on which direction we go.

Some of the mocks I am seeing, looks like Titans and Patriots maybe in on Jordan Addison? Barring injury
someone is going to get a good player.

His immeasurables are off the chart. 6'3" 240 lbs and runs a 4.39 that's just crazy. He also has a 36" vertical jump and can broad jump 10.5 feet. But his play slipped last year and he wasn't as productive as the year before. It only takes one team though to fall in love with his supreme athletic skills and draft him in the mid to late first round.

Yes, was my early draft. Probably switch it up this week if I get a little time to do some research. I've been seeing Bryan Bresee in the news as a possible #1 for the Steelers. Interesting.

Where are these draftbuzz people getting this 4.39 time? The combine hasn’t happened yet, and I don’t think there are many other venues where players run 40’s under consistently controlled conditions with electronic timing. Yet I see this before the combine all the time where draft sites put in measurables, and then at the combine the player does something completely different.
