Mr " You can't. box without sparring "

I go back and forth with Mr. Mike and I do believe he let the players run free in the past but I still think he is top 5 NFL Coach. I really believe Billadick with same players get's us two more SB's. That guy can turn garbage into gold.

 

I feel about the same. I never said He was the greatest coach , but I would put Him in the top 5- 7, and I don't think You get rid of a coach that highly ranked. We shall see what the future holds....because open minds can be changed with new info.

 

Tomlin is a good coach. I do not understand people who claim otherwise. I guess any year the team doesn't win a Super Bowl means the coach sucks.

That said, I thought they should move on from him a few years ago. I thought it was time for a change. I reconsidered because he did a hell of a job with the 2019 team. I thought the same last year. They were weak on both lines, their quarterback was a shell of his former self and they still managed to find a way into the playoffs. I'm still not sure he can ever get this team back to the Super Bowl, but there is something to be said for a steady hand on the wheel.

My current complaint is his coaching staff. Aside from Flores and a few others, I don't think Tomlin has done a good job hiring assistants. He clearly can't find a decent offensive line coach. Klemm was an unqualified joke. Meyer's resume isn't horrible, but I wasn't enthusiastic about that choice even before we watched so many guys regress this preseason.

 

We all know Belichick would've cheated though
