yes this hasn't been talked about much if any on here. i have seen talk about his bad play and not much about all the good this kid does. he hustles. he saved our bacon on the chase down play. i'd like to see more players giving this type of effort. hat's off to you peyton wilson. i think we have a good one here.

tied for the team lead in tackles with queen but has one more solo tackle than queen. both i think are playing well.

good job kid. hope the rest were watching.

 

Pretty fast for a guy missing an ACL

 

He and Queen both played poorly against the Jets and he wasn't much better against the Seahawks, but he has improved in the last two games.

He has made some truly spectacular plays as a Steeler. At some point, he's going to start being more consistent and then they will really have something.

But worthy of a callout IMO. That run down of a WR was incredible. As the article says, that was a play that really helped us at the end of a close game (even though it should not have been close.....argggggg!). Kudos to him and his work ethic to act like Rudy on every play.

 

An amazing effort.. Dude gives it his all whether is practice or an important overseas game. We are very lucky to have him 13 tackles is a career high for PW.. Can't wait to see Jack Sawyer develop into and I am dreaming TJ Watt

 

You do know he led the team in tackles against the Seahawks, including a sack and a tackle for loss, don't you? He was second in tackles (behind Queen) against the Cheatriots, with a fumble recovery in the end zone, and led the team in tackles against the vikings.

 

I personally didn't know that about the Seahawks game.

 

I've been paying attention because LBs should be leading the team in tackles, but way to many times in the last couple of years it's been CBs and Safeties. The last two weeks Wilson and Queen have been 1/2 in tackles, which is as it should be.

 

They had a debate on who is the fastest LB in Steelers history, Wilson or Shazier on 93.7 the fan. The consensus was Shazier on his initial burst but probably Wilson on long speed. His 22+ mph chase down of Addison was the fastest recorded speed of any LB since they started recording it. The fact that he is an ILB is even more incredible.

 

holcomb, harrison and bruener are no slouches either. i believe this is the best overall group we have ever had here. nice to finally see it. same on the outside linebackers. it should get better as we go i hope. solid group.
