Crap! I’m off Sunday, the girlfriend is working, and I had a whole man-time planned. Oh well.

 

Seems to be my dilemma.

 

Now that this is going to be happening Monday, right before the game, nobody that is actually going to be attending the game is going to be able to do this.

Come to the game 3 hours early to shovel snow, and then sit outside in the Freezing cold, sweating from the work, and soaking wet for the Next 3 hours to watch the game. This could be a real Black-Monday as the Bills will kill off most of their Mafia ticketholders if this happens.

This is going to be worse than Philadelphia.

 

Hours before the game starts? Bills have done this before, but they always do it the night before. There will be no access to the Stadium until Monday.

Oh, don't get me wrong. They are going to do the best they can, but it is going to be a sh!t show.

I’m sure it wasn’t but it does not help for the ***** to make jokes about the weather and the Steeler fans don’t need to come anyway cause it won’t do any good a few days ago.

 

The original plan was for the third-party workers to start Sat 10pm, 13 hours before kickoff.
The new plan is start Sun afternoon, about 24 hours before kickoff. (Probably to reduce the time spent working during the night.)
They probably have their regular workers to do snow clearing close to game time, but the idea is to do as much clearing and carrying away by dump trucks well in advance.
The "3 hour" scenario you are mentioning is nowhere close to how these things are done.

It’s not like you can just toss the snow in your neighbors yard when they are not looking

If you keep tossing it in the row in front of you eventually the row in front of you disappears

Clearing the field is not the problem you can do that with equipment (I know)

Yup, seeing reports of the game might be getting cancelled for Monday as well. Tuesday looks like a possible scenario.


Talk about a crap show. FWIW it's not the stadium that's driving it being an open air venue, it's the logistics and public safety aspect of everything around it. So even if they had a dome, the same thing would be happening.

 

I think most employ chutes along the aisles and take the shoveled snow down to the field where the heavy machinery plows it out of the stadium.

 

Not sure why they would extend it another day just for fun?

Their Winter storm warning Started Saturday at 10AM and ends Monday at 7AM. I don't think they are expecting any new snow after noon on Monday. But, maybe they are worried about getting the snow removed from the stadium for the Fans and Players.

If they knew about all week long and waited until the last minute so the game couldn't go to another stadium. Than yes, I would call them out.

 

I know people who lost money on their flight and hotel. So I'm confused why people in Buffalo won't refund.

Looks to be only a state emergency for the stadium and nothing else.
