Do you feel that Mike Tomlin does a good job in motivating his players? Do you feel
that his coaching staff and himself does a good job in preparing his players to be successful?
Does it look like after 3 games that any body is having fun on our team besides #7 + #84+ #25?
Would you like to see more player rotation? Can you do this rotation when every body is in the hurry up?
Do you feel that we are receiving the PRODUCTION from our big money people
that you feel is necessary for them to receive these huge salary's? Coaches included.
What are your expectations for the year from Oh lets say Troy, Woodley, Timmons, Silverback ( when and if he comes back)Kiesel Hood,Colon, Taylor, Heyward? We have alot of MONEY invested in these mentioned players.
What are your thoughts on these subjects? Thanks

I for one think that Tomlin has really done an outstanding job since he's been here. He's a great motivator in that remember the 2010 season when Antonio Brown took the reverse kickoff to the house on the Titans and we were all like "wow, what have we got here"? Tomlin was asked about his young star during that week and he said we'll see how much he plays the next game according to how he practices this week. Just one quick example but I think he makes each guy accountable for what they are able to accomplish individually. That to me is the mark of a good coach. However, I would like to see us in the near future try Tomlin's 4-3 Tampa 2 D as I think we are starting to tip our hand defensively. We are aging on that side of the ball as all teams have to do, it's just part of football. We need to use this upcoming draft on pretty much all things defense in my opinion. Let's get some position flexible guys and maybe run a hybrid 3-4, 4-3. In our own division we have to keep everyone guessing and if Carson Palmer who doesn't even play us twice a year anymore says we are predictable then we need to change it up. Now granted our current D is banged up and if we can get Troy back and maybe Harrison, Fingers crossed, I think we can ride it out this year especially the way Ben and the offense is controlling the clock. All teams eventually have to make changes and this is the time for us to start retooling the D to be one of the most feared in this league as we Steeler fans are used to seeing week in and week out. I'll never doubt my Steelers and I think you're going to see a proud unit coming off of the bye week and we will start our roll with Philly next Sunday. Good post and I'm interested myself in seeing how everyone else feels. Can't wait for next week, have a good one fellow fans!

lack of discipline is evident from years , too many stupid penalties ,as far as training i have my concern , a lot of players out of shape , motivating i don't know

Looking at the amount of penaties they have made in 3 games it does appear they are un-disciplined, and that goes directly to the coaching staff, they arent focused in a game that requires 75% mental concentration. Ike Taylor is one of the worst offenders and yet he never changes, he of course was a 4th round pick for a reason, this defense has old legs and it seems like their minds are old and not in the game as well, you think maybe at age 75 Lebeau's mind is in slow mo too????

The thing that concerns me the most is that we've used our number one pick for defensive players like Timmons, Hood and Heyward and so ar they haven't played like number one picks. The word that comes to mind when I think about these three guys, and really our entire defense at this point is mediocre.

well yea, i may be a little more distracted at my job when i now have millions to worry about. it's not like these guys can just go to the bank and cash their paychecks every week or just put it in their checking account. those are some pretty nice size amounts to deal with weekly. i'm pretty sure the football part may come 2nd by then.

what is strange is that tomlin drafted well on offense but very poorly on defense , besides woodley that is a heck of a player found in rd2 , other picks are very average , and he is suppose to be a defense guru

hood bruce davis (and not avril) worilds carter sylvester gibson lewis mundy gay , 9 picks that made the team ....all downgrade

I don't see why we waste a number one draft pick on defensive lineman when all we ask them to do is tie up blockers. I think Aaron Smith was a 7th rounder and Keisel was a later round pick also.
