I can’t believe the Kansas City Chiefs will have a moment of silence for Jovan Belcher (The Chiefs player that killed his girlfriend and then killed himself in front of his coach and General Manager yesterday). If any one of us had done this there would not be a moment of silence. That guy was a murderer.

They have to do something. They can't just start the game as if nothing happened.

Obviously you don't want to memorialize a murderer, but to rememeber the victim, her child and other victims of violence is appropriate.

Honestly, they should have post poned the gme until Monday or Tuesday. The guy committed suicide right in front of the Owner and the Coach. To continue like nothing happened with the remainder of players knowing that something is different just doesn't seem right. I know the games must go on but such tragedies warrant a more realistic perspective. JMHO.

He shot her 9 times. I have trouble with people wearing his jersey at the game.

I saw this as KC's choice. If they wanted to postpone the game, I'm sure the NFL would have let them.

It just shows how clueless society has become lately. Violence is everywhere on TV, movies and the internet and is largely accepted by society. Mix in drugs, the lousy economy that half of society doesn't understand nor care for and this is what you get. Unfortunately I don't see it getting better anytime soon when such cluelessness and deception is accepted back into the Whitehouse.

Maybe those same clowns who wore his jersey should have put a poster of his head on their shoulders with a bullet hole in it also. There would be no doubt that some numbskull would have thought that was really Kool Man.

we will probably never know why, but maybe she was going to try and take full custody of their baby. threatening to take away a child can make people do crazy things.

There is no excuse for that kind of brutality. I'm sick over this.

Yeah - for some reason I think that if you can murder another person and then take your own life, you were probably already a little crazy and didn't need much prodding. Not speaking ill of the dead, but it is what it is.

Wow, wtf is wrong with people, why would you wear that scumbags jersey. It's bad enough he killed her but he orphaned their daughter too.
