I was thinking this, but by the time he got up to throw the ball he will be called for delay of game. :smiley1:

antoine brooks, pierre and layne looking pretty good at mini camp. brooks has been seeing time at the slot in hiltons place. also sutton if needed in the slot pierre has been looking good on the outside as well as layne. reports are splash plays from pierre. several. all this is good news.

Skydive into AB's practice, show him up thorn. Just a couple of days behind bars at the worst.

I just hope he doesn't over do it, and is smart about it.

Looks like just a little more time needed on that change of direction push off. Just still a little hitch in that giddyup. There's still time though.

If a coach tells him that, someone here on the board will make a thread saying that the coaches want him playing XBox instead of practicing.

By most accounts, Mmuuutthhh is having himself a great camp. I'm jacked, been wanting them to draft a good TE for awhile now. I liked Vanimal but you need more than one.

I'd like to see a whole lot of Chris Kemoeatu nastiness (without the penalties) this season, especially in the run game. Punish d-lineman, wear them down so Ben isn't compelled to throw 50 freakin' passes.

Seems that Chuks is already on the hot seat indirectly albeit in a subtle manner. Tomlin alluded to this earlier in the off season when asked by a reporter about the starting offensive lineman; nothing is set in stone. Did not doubt his statement then but am glad that Klemm is putting players on notice without calling them out.

I would love nothing more than for Chuks to succeed. If he cannot..... well.....

Now that camp in over, we're entering another period when any news is usually not the kind you want to hear. Lets hope for a peaceful intermission until camp starts and the players heavily in prep mode. Mimi camp sounds like it was a success. On to Buffalo.

On to Buffalo, but Ben better play more than one quarter in the preseason to shake the rust off. He's notorious for starting out slow and the Bills are no pushover.

i was glad to hear finney got his weight down and he's back to where he was when he was here before. maybe he just wanted to stay or be here but the money was dangled in front of him and he had buyers remorse. he had a bad attitude which is a good thing for our linemen. controlled aggression is key to this line being good. i think they are athletic enough to make this work. i believe we may be surprised by this bunch before it's over.

Agreed but each year I hope that some things will be corrected and adjustments made for things like this. I guess it depends on what Ben wants to do which means I am not holding my breath. Preseason won't tell me squat about if anything is truly different but Buffalo will and then we'll know. I am not even counting on a win, just visual evidence that we are doing what was said during the offseason and I'll be happy. We'll have 16 other games to fine tune. JMO>
