If we were asking her to step out on the field and play, your comparison would be relevant. Given that we are not, it is not.

Also, talking about it in forums like this is not even close to what is required to do it professionally.

So actual experience means nothing. Nor the idea that one person has done something the other person has,but longer than they have been alive???

I knew that one would get ya! In the words of Wesley Snipes, "That sh!t was too easy".

As for your question, in the interest of ego massaging, I'll go with the man who played football. Seems like a much simpler answer.

I don't, but it's not worth the battle and I'm not a trophy hunter.

I kinda find it funny that you think you playing 7 years of middle school and high school football means anything. You really don’t need much knowledge to play at those levels.

I just thought it funny that of all the players who could have slipped up and spilled the beans, it was the Player who was already in trouble with Mike Tomlin.

No, playing high school ball does not make you more of an expert than a person who did the work to become a professional football analyst. Didn't we have a college football player here who routinely made a fool of himself in discussions about football?

Meaning. I actually hate to agree, but you are correct, and we will leave it there. I mean if we flipped the script, and You played 7 years, and watched football longer than another person was alive I would say you probably knew more. You keep going on about when someone is at work....what she's doing, but you taking away actual experience, and you are totally taking away watching longer than she's been alive....somehow that is going over your head. You would have to watch a $hit ton of football to watch more football than someone that has been watching longer than You were alive . I think that is going straight over your head.

Ahhhh another fan(i was just talking about a few of You in the conversation section LoL) ....who only reads what they want. How about watching the game longer than they have been alive. Why are people skipping this??? Also learn to add years.

What is completely going over your head is that watching something longer than someone else doesn't make you smarter? How can you not see how ridiculous your argument is? By your standards, that means everyone on this message board who has watched football longer than you is automatically smarter than you. Is that true? How many games have you watched? Start a thread with the exact number of games. Everyone else will respond with their number. We'll form a hierarchy and finally establish who the smartest person on this board is!

So again experience means nothing. Talking means more. , and skip the part where one person has watch longer than the other has been alive. Also learn to add the years.

LoL. Dude it would be simpler just to say.....no matter how true what you say is.....I'm going to disagree. So actual experience, and twice the length of watching mean nothing. LoL. I hope You don't actually use this problem solving in real life. LoL. All of you are just picking one thing or the other. Your either picking more times watching football, or actual experience, but your not putting them together. I get it. LoL

You do realize middle school is 6th, 7th and 8th grade nowadays…right. That’s 3 years plus 4 years makes 7.

And I too played football from 4th grade to 12th. So I’ve had 9 years experience. I also have watched NFL for over 40 years and I can guarantee that the analyst and experts know more than I do. But then again I’m not a know it all, done it all type of person. I’m not one that thinks my opinion is always right.

I'll break this down in the most simple way I can. Two guys are sitting together watching football. One has watched for 20 years and the other 15. The one who has watched for 15 years has a very analytical brain. He can understand defensive and offensive schemes. Realize what every players job is and where they should be on the field. He understands techniques and philosophies of the sport. The guy who has watched for 20 years likes to drink beer and just sees large humans crashing into each other. Now, tell me how the guy that has watched for longer is the smarter football fan? Some of your takes I disagree with. This one I'm absolutely baffled by.

Why would you bring up now a days. If I said I watch Football longer than she has been alive. Then with common sense. I couldn't have been playing now a days. LoL. Like I said a few guys. There are about 5 of you that no matter what I say....whatever it's about. Try finding an argument....even if I'm not talking to you. LoL. So I'm a know it all that you stalk. LoL. We didn't play football till the 8th grade where, and when I grew up. So all that dumb stuff just went out the window

My grandson is 5: I just watched one of his games. He turned the corner and got a TD! So my knowledge of ‘ball’ is beyond question

That is not longer than they other has been alive. Yes....I agree if it was only a 5 year difference, and you take out actually experience, but that not the reality of it....you are changing the parameters.
I totally agree there are women out there that know more about football than me, but not ones that haven't been alive as long as I have watched...., and that's leaving out and not counting the real experience.

I was watching the movie "Warriors" and my 6 year old grandson was in and out of the room so I didn't think he was really paying attention. The next day after scoring a goal at soccer he walked over to the opposing bench and shouted "Can you diiiiiiggg it!"

Yeah I totally stalk you man, I mean you rant on and rant on in every single post. You try to argue that your point is always right. In the game day thread you had to make sure you posted 5 or 6 times by just say Defense.

I truly don’t understand with your experience and watching for over 30 years why you aren’t standing on the sideline with a headset on or in a studio. Heck start a podcast and share your knowledge.

I didn't know there were parameters set. Now I think I got it. So what about a starting SEC lineman, who's a junior, who didn't start playing football until 9th grade? You have the same amount of on field experience, plus way more years watching the game. Do you know more about football than that guy?
