Did anyone ever figure out if TB can spell CAT???

Good for Tomlin, TB deserved a dig for the stupid things he said. Like others mentioned, could have just said he does't think he is a great coach and then actually present some factual things that he feels backs that up instead of cheap insults.

He may not have meant for it to come off like that but it did.

The knock on Tomlin, at least on here, is that he shows no emotion and has a "deer in the headlights look" Now, people are calling him a cheerleader? All the cheerleaders I've ever seen show LOTS of emotion. Which is it?

I used to think Tomlin had that "deer in the headlights look" too and then I saw Todd Bowles. Geez, that guy has totally lost his team and comes across as an uninspiring robot. The more I look around the league, the better Tomlin looks.

I think the problem and Bradshaw maybe touched on it and people are too upset to step back and admit it, is that we don't know what he does. We don't know what his style is. He isn't an offensive guru like Peyton, not a hardcore defense guy like Zimmer or Ryan, or some sort of mad genius like Darth Hoodie. So when you are outside looking in, you have to say what does he do. Is he teaching guys? Is he breaking things down on the sideline? Beyond being responsible for everything, just who is he as a coach.

Yep I agree. He'll HAVE to "clarify" that statement in the not too distant future. Maybe he forgot what fan base he's talking to in the heat of anger.

Clearly, Tomlin spends the bulk of his time on the sidelines with eyes wide open, thinking about keeping his body off of the field, determining whether or not to take a timeout, and telling his leaders on the team to talk to their players. For the most part, it works. What Bradshaw even meant by it who knows. But it is, "bulletin board material." If players are already hyped to the max, as suggested David DeCastro should be, then why would "bulletin board material" even be a thing?

Who cares what team he grew up rooting for? Besides, it's not like the Steelers take the local guys anyway, cough Marino cough.

yeah I don't think so. If they need what Terry Bradshaw says to motivate them at this point then there is something seriously wrong with them. YOu are a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and are now going to the playoffs that should be enough to motivate you and not an aging legend who is trying to stay relevant in the digital age by resorting to Shock Jock tactics ala Mark Madden style saying your head coach is a cheerleader.

    :lolol: @Tomlin trolling Bradshaw.

I truly appreciate Bradshaw's contributions to the Pittsburgh Steelers. I really, really do. But, he really is a few screws short of a hardware store.

If he was/wasn't a Cowboys fan I really don't mind, but if he was then fair play to him for saying who his team was growing up, I think more athletes (not just in football) should do that.

They all must have watched it growing up and had a team they supported just like us, nobody just falls into a sport without watching it

They should have fired this guy the night he strolled on the field to ruin that return. That's not the Steeler way. His rot gut approach to decisions on 2 point tries needs a coat of Pepto and his constant misuse of time outs in 2 minute drills is disgusting. Now this.

There's a lot of Steeler fans who would put Henderson on the same level as Burfict or Suggs or Ray Lewis. Not talent wise as HH was just a cocaine eating piece of ****. You don't go there with Steeler lore. It's like someone saying in 20 years they grew up a Burfict fan

Guys you need to chill on MT being a cowboy fan growing up. His dad or mom may have been one and he was going to watch them when they were on. Dad and or Mom rooted for them. What kid wanting his folks attention is going to root for a different team? Just like players. They leave one team and go to another. That now is their fav team. My best friend around here is a cincituckey bungle fan. He grew up there. I have even stooped so low I bought him a few bungle pieces of clothing. it is called life. Tomlin may have never seen Hollywood play. But being a Dallas fan he has seen that clip many times. So the youngest cheerleader to ever get to 100 wins, became a Steeler fan in 2006 or 7. Works for me. Mr. Cheerleader with 102 wins is Alright in my book! Keep up the GREAT work Coach!
BTW I hated football till I got back from Vietnam at the age of 19 the 1st time. Lived 13 Miles from Forbes Field. Went to Sunday school, had to sit in back of the church. Go home take off the Sunday go to meetin clothes. Sit on the floor and watch the sisters of the poor whip the dogmess out of the Steelers. Now I could go outside and play. Upon return from Vietnasty I was a big Steeler fan and still is! Hey Bradshaw, here is a HINT for you t
