Martavis was on social media today letting the fans know how important he is to the team. None of us have ever said he wasn't. We've just said that he's a moron for breaking rules he knew he would be held accountable for. The post he made was honestly so poorly written that my 3 year old little girl is probably already more literate than he ever will be. I will be extremely surprised if this dude ever gets his crap together. Here's the story. Good luck deciphering his sentences. We might need the lady from Airplane that speaks jive to help us all out. LOL!

LOl ok. Good teams pick up slack of others when they are struggling. Steelers just keep forcing the same crap

I think he is definitely better than Coates. I just don't know that I trust him from a character standpoint. The dude has proven over and over that he's a petulant child. Even Ben has had to call him out. I won't be surprised if he winds up in the "what might have been" file.

Yeah I don't know if he's "that" bad but the end results are probably basically the same from a football standpoint.

At this point the odds are against him ever being an impact player in Pittsburgh or anywhere in the NFL, or an NFL player at all. He obviously has non-football problems in his life he needs to straighten out. It was fun while it lasted though.

Um, yes, they have, as noted by the member below you, lol.

Lot of people say he isn't important to the team but he is, not sure how they think that.

But I agree with you that he needs to grow up and fast, if he is to ever make it here.

We could use his football talent, but not the off football stuff. His elevator doesn't go to the top....

I could tell he was mad. His social media use to be all about Stairway to 7. Then all these idiots in his IG comments months after the fact still yelling at him about weed. Let it go, you aren't helping but hurting the situation.

There isn't really any urban slang in his post.

It's good that he's mad. If he's both so upset and cares about the team's performance, then he needs to get his ****e together and make some positive contributions to the success of the organization.

Well here's his exact post in the way that he wrote it. It's not exactly Shakespeare and honestly makes him sound pretty stupid.

"One of the pieces missing but people swore up and down that I wasn't a big part guess everyone see now huh !! from day one when I got there I helped the team out I am not the biggest piece of the puzzle but I am one of the pieces that matter facts"

That's his exact "statement". Either that or the world's longest run on sentence.

No, he's mad like where if he actually does comeback, stay off the weed, and is as good as we all know he can be... He's not resigning with the Steelers because of these idiots in his IG comments. Let it go. Getting mad at him over a plant that's going to be legal everywhere in the US in a few years.

I don't view that as urban slang. That sounds like a general case of the average American using poor English. I agree it sounds bad. I'm simply pointing out that it doesn't sound like urban slang.

Urban slang sounds much different. It also uses more specific colloquialisms.

I'm not mad about him smoking weed. I do think he's making poor business decisions based on current society. It is silly for our society to be hung up on weed. But that doesn't change the reality that our society is hung on that BS. And that hang up can affect this young man's money/success. He needs to handle this situation better. The situation may be ludicrous (based on weed not really being a big deal), but so is much in both our society and the NFL. We all have to work our way either around or through said foolishness. This is unfortunate, but it is our current reality.
