They talked about how good Trestman is supposed to be for qbs but he didn't seem to do much with Cutler. Cutler is not a great qb anyway but I hope we see Flacco putting up some Cutler-esque numbers. I agree though that they're gonna be a pass first team. Forte is one of the best backs in the game and Trestman didn't utilize him at all. So I don't think he will be big on running the ball. I bet Flacco is actually pretty glad about this.

His first year with cutler wasn't bad O stat wise... This year the whole damn team imploded. All in all it was probably a good hire but that doesn't matter... Us and the rats are always a toss up come game time. Hopefully his bad season carries over to our division foes, we shall see!

Yeah but they were still a pretty one dimensional offense. My buddy is a huge Bears fan and couldn't stand Trestman for the way he used or didn't properly use Forte.

Kubiak was a better OC than Trestman, good thing he's gone.

forte ran the ball 266 times and caught 102 passes...... the fact that he only had 1036 yds. and a 3.9 ave. points more to the o-line then on a lack of, or improper use..
nothing an OC or rb can do in that situation..... but no one can say that forte wasn't used properly

Just because he is a huge Bears fan, doesn't mean he knows what he is talking about ;)

I wasn't happy when the Ravens got him, so I'm pleased he moved on to Denver, which I think weakens Denver by the way because Kubiak is a better OC than HC. So, good all around

I've actually talked to him about it and he said there would just be stretches where they would run it a lot and then there would be times where they would have games with only 8 attempts. I don't know if that's exactly right but I just had no reason to doubt it ya know? What's funny is about a year ago I told him that the Bear had a horrible o line and he was talking about how Cutler had became one of the least sacked qbs and I was like "but I've seen him get killed behind that line like crazy" and he said that they had fixed it. So who knows? LOL. I know I did see some games this year where Cutler was getting hit a lot and really I think he just gave up. I can't even imagine what he would feel like behind the lines Ben has been behind for years.

Yeah it's not like he's a Steelers fan. LOL. Most Bears fans I know are pretty knowledgeable though.
