    The harder hit was Fitzpatrick.

He did do a little extra after the whistle, and I really had no problem with it. It was him displaying a little bit of swagger and as a means to get under their skin, akin to what Dennis Rodman did on the basketball court many moons ago. I don't think he crossed any lines per se, but he certainly played in that gray area.

Maybe fans don't like the comparison but he hits aggressively similar to how Ryan Clark played.

Clark was more consistent in taking good angles on tackles, but Fitzpatrick is much better in coverage.

    Well...

Tyler Boyd stated they quit a season ago. In addition, whether the Bengals are ready or not, the "hunter" can become the "hunted" very quickly. Just like the Rams, the Bengals will get everyone's best; liked or not.

Pittsburgh is just another example as to what is coming to Cincy. Plenty more teams want to bash their heads in. Plenty more will get their opportunity.

Side note; December 4th is when Kansas City takes on Cincy. I would imagine that Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid will have something to say by that point as well. Plenty of time between now and then but I would imagine their sentiments are the same as the Steelers; kick their asses.

I think your post is right on target. Minkah started here with some plays that made people expect that all the time, which is ridiculous. He has done a great job..often being asked to do things beyond his position. When everything else is relatively good, then we see just how disruptive and excellent this guy is.

I was on Minkah a lot last year because I thought he “got lost” during games and my bar is set high from Troy years! Must say though, he played outstanding and if this is what he brings then I 100% eat crow. He made Splash plays and was a HUGE factor in this game.

I'm sure Tomlin reminded them they had lost three straight to the Bengals, and got dominated by them twice last season, and Boyd accusing the Steelers of quitting.

After the second unnecessary roughness penalty on Fitzpatrick, he hit a receiver in the end zone, jarring the ball loose on what would have otherwise been a touchdown. He made a show of going up to the nearest official after the play. Now we know what he said. it's at about the four-minute mark.

The more He can actually play His position, and not have to babysit T. Edmunds, and Bush .....the better a player He is.
