Unfortunate for Dak. He was playing on the franchise tag.

Dak needs to know that 'break a leg' is just an idiom. Unfortunate for him

Yeah, hate to see that. Don't want to see anyone injured. Beaten to a pulp when they play us? Obviously. But injured? No.

    Prayers for Dak.

What stinks even worse is that Jerry Jones did not extend Dak like he should have. That is the worst apsect about all of this!! Dak was not just crying because his season is over!

He is crying because he now has zero leverage against Jerry and the Cowboys. That is not even the worst part about this. Assuming Dallas ends up with a Top 5 pick, Jerry is likely going to give up Heaven and Earth for either Fields or even Lawrence!!

Could anyone imagine either Fields or Lawrence with the likes of Cooper, Lamb and Zeke?!?!

I don't think competitors think that way. He's crying because of the mental and physical pain of thinking his season is over. He's got money. He wants to play. That's how he's wired.

At some point, the future will be thought about. But leverage is not on his mind as he is being carted off. Not a chance.

    I disagree.

You are right. He has money. However, to play for a big contract by performing well is definitely something on his mind. That would be more money in his pocket than he has now; for today and for the future.

Steelers should sign Prescott if we win the Super Bowl and Ben retires. Good investment.

We won't see eye to eye on this. I accept that.

And he will think about leverage at some point, but an elite athlete is not thinking about leverage when he doesn't know if he'll play again this season, or ever. That's what's going through his mind coming off the field.

Tough situation. Always hated the Cowboys brand, but I like Prescott as a player and person. Feel bad for him.

I wonder how Jerry Jones feels about not extending him now.

I sometimes question whether or not that franchise will ever be relevant again under his ownership.

    Answer.

    Nope.

So long as Jerry Jones runs it, expect more of the same. Jerry Jones is all sizzle, no steak. All he cares about is box office sales; not Championships.

    That is a good question.

Jerry is a very unusual owner.

I wouldn't mind seeing Dak in a Steelers uniform.

Considering Ben's age, our QB room, and Dak's recovery timeline.

I don't think I'm underestimating the potential of Rudolph, Dobbs and Duck hahaha

Well now @Jammasterc @steel machine may have to worry about Eagles getting healthy and taking that division. Dalton is decent but not good enough to win shoot outs every week imo

    Giants aren’t terrible.
But have to get that first win.
And maybe Alex Smith can get Washington going.
