I don't think this deal closes the door on Witherspoon. Levi Wallace's deal is affordable enough that they can still bring back Witherspoon if they can come to terms.

I am wondering myself as to why Schobert is still on the team. Is Myles Jack's agent really asking for the Sun and Moon level contract?! I would hope not but given how I personally just witnessed the most overpaid player since Albert Haynesworth in Christian Kirk to the Jaguars... I am leaving NOTHING to chance... not today... not EVER AGAIN!!

Looks like the Steelers are building nicely through FA. I just hope Trubisky doesn't let us down. I would still grab Pickett if available at 20 which there is no way he will be. Still would consider moving up to 16 if he is there. As you can tell I'm not sold on Trubisky. Hope he proves me wrong.

ok so I checked to see if I had been drinking today and evidently I only had one adult beverage. Haven't touched the apple pie moonshine and still seem able to navigate the house on steady footing. So I am not dreaming and the Steelers are making moves that make sense and are going to help the team in measurable ways. Now I will imbibe in some more adult beverages!

 

It just seems to me that Trubisky is not very careful with the ball and is prone to throwing a pick at the most inopportune time. He's done that several times during his career.

Back to the topic at hand though. I really like this CB signing.

 

My thing is the downfield stuff. Everyone complained about it here for 2 years,and that's Trubisky worst part of His game.

 

Come on man, we lost the quickest 3 yard QB in history, Mitch can level it at least 4 yards! Small steps brother! Actually I think all the signings maje sense, pretty much what you and I have been saying all off season
.build a team, get depth and find your QB. Not delusional that this is a championship caliber team, but they are a better team.
