Le'Veon Bell vs Eddie Lacy

He has lost 20 pounds since college, that's why he's shiftier now instead of trying to run people over.

I freely admit that I was one of the people deriding the Bell pick over Lacy. Very pleased to have been so wrong. I was just as upset about taking Shazier over Mosely so I hope I am proven wrong again.

(I was right about Ziggy instead of James Laurenitis though and it still irks me!)

 

Btw I was ecstatic when we got both Decastro and Adams so what the heck do I know?

 

If I ever rant about the Shazier pick it will be because I would have liked to have had Kyle Fuller although I REALLY wanted Dennard. How has he done so far? What little I have seen Fuller play he has looked good and I have a buddy that is a die hard Bears fan and he absolutely loves the guy. He has great hands and instincts. I'm not a Shazier hater though and have high hopes for him.

 

I wanted Fuller too after Gilbert was gone.

Do you think they would have taken him? I think they wanted Shazier all along. I wanted a CB and was furious but after the first preseason game with Shazier I felt a LOT better! LOL! I really wouldn't be surprised if Fuller gets defensive rookie of the year. Would you?

 

He has just been playing really good and with Clowney hurt and Shazier hurt and Gilbert and Dennard not doing anything it just wouldn't surprise me. He has some picks and some passes defended. Man I want a corner with good hands! I'm just gonna have to stop before I irritate myself. LOL.

 

Adams was high as well. LOL.
