We killed the chefs but just as we blow out teams we can also throw clunkers. Jets have a D line that will give our line fits, and you know how that ends. Great thing we play at home and I can see us pulling a W. We then play the fins at miami, should win this one as well. We play pats at home week 7. I already pegged this as a loss. Brady will probably kill us and Tomlin cant hang with belicheat. They are beatable though, but history dont like us. If we can win the games we are supposed to we will go in the bye 5-2. Not bad at all

5-2 would be excellent at bye, IMO. If the Steelers can win all of their divisional matchups, they'll be in good shape. The Jets D is worrisome, but covering Brandon Marshall will also be a problem. I hope they stick Cockrell on Marshall. If he can shut down AJ Green, he can cover Marshall. Both of those WRs have the same skill set.

Only problem is Fitzpatrick has 9 picks in two games, so no matter how good his receivers are, if he cant get the ball to them it doesnt matter, and their secondary has been leaking like a sieve over 4 games, and there is this:

Jets' Darrelle Revis (hamstring) uncertain for Antonio Brown showdown
The Jets' porous pass defense would have its hands full with Antonio Brown on a good day, and it may be without Darrelle Revis for next week's matchup.

We are going to be where I thought and hoped we would be at the end of the 1st quarter of games this year. (3-1) I'm betting the Steelers over the Jets as heavy as I bet the Steelers over the Chiefs. I don't think the score will be as one sided as the Chiefs game, unless the Jets give us as many gifts as the Chiefs did, but I think we win fairly easy. Now they have to repeat that 3-1 ratio for the 2nd quarter and we should be 6-2 half way through the season and in pretty good shape

Indeed. If anything... I see quite a bit of Philly in that defensive front from a talent standpoint. In addition.. Wilkerson and Richardson are mallable as they are not just bookends. Add a quality player in former Steeler Steve McClendon and a top 5 talent in Leonard Williams.... and that games just reeks of the word "trap."

Steelers really need to take care of business the next two weeks. I'll feel good going into the bye at 5-2, even if we lose to New England.
I'll be really be feeling good, if they are 6-1.

I think they can beat the Patriots. They just have to show up and have the same fire they had against the Chiefs.

I feel good about us beating the Jets. Yesterday should have been the Jets bounce back game if they had any gas in the tank, but they stunk and IMO they are spiraling downward (pun intended).

Not giving up on the Patsies game. If we heal up on defense by then, we can beat them in a shoot out.

I think the Steelers are in good shape in the division as well. The Ravens have a lot of tough games left and so do the Bengals. The Ravens still gotta play at both New York teams, at Dallas, at New England, and at Pittsburgh and Cincy. Plus, they still have to play the Eagles too. The Ravens aren't winning all of those games and will probably lose quite a few of them.

Keep winning your games especially these next two weeks with the Jets and Miami and everything else will take care of itself. Needless to say the Pats game here in about two weeks is going to have huge bye week homefield advantage in the playoffs ramifications on the line.

I almost wish this game was in NJ. Jets fans have to be ready to turn on Fitzpatrick at the 1st sign of trouble...I know I would!
