Thanks. No need to thank me for my service. I got paid. And the VA has given me more than I gave our country, plus they are gonna bury me in a national cemetery.

AND NOW, BACK TO THE GAME!

I'm ready, I got a system going on. Remote clicker in one hand, and nurse call button in the other. First sign of trouble and I'm clickin on the Andy Griffith Show.

Even if someone believed that the Steelers were "due for a clunker", that already happened: the Browns game.
    And they still won.
They kept their win streak alive, and got a game to remind the players that they can't get complacent.

You've got to be kidding me, right? He has the 8th most playoff wins in NFL history at 11. His 11-6 record is a 65% win percentage. Basically 2 wins out of 3... only behind Brady's 22 playoff wins (9 losses, and a 71% win percentage) among active QB's. Brady is as elite as it gets come playoff time and he's only won 6% more of his playoff games over his career (which is roughly 1 out of 17)... I understand your skepticism with the team, but making crazy (and outright wrong) statements like this hurts the overall credibility of your argument.

Also, I can guarantee no one is looking past Miami in the locker room. This is Bell's first healthy playoff game. We have a lot of young players on with little or no playoff experience (Bell, Hamilton, Ayers, Rogers, rookies on D). They'll be amped. A first round home game should make it an electric atmosphere... We as fans can look ahead if we want, because looking ahead will only affect the outcome if you play for the team. Fans looking ahead doesn't affect anything at all.

Ps. Thankyou for your service (I know you said no thanks needed but still). My fathers grandfather was a medic and his uncle was a flamethrower as well. I cant even fathom how crazy that must've been.

Just because a TEAM wins a playoff game, doesn't mean the QB played well.

And just because they lose, it doesn't mean that he played poorly. See last year's playoff loss in Denver where Ben played exceptionally well in circumstances that were lined up horribly against him (AB, Bell, DWill out, Ben playing hurt, going against the defense that crushed Brady and Newton).

Big Ben needs to establish himself once and for all as a elite future HOF QB, play lights out and win Super Bowl MVP to cement his legacy.

I think we can win if he has a clunker. Good thing is he will have that out of his way. That way we can win number 7. Woot woot

I never said in any of that post that the 08 and 10 teams didn't have a dominant defense. I was pointing out that even those teams were nitt picked to death on the message boards just like the current team. And our current offense is worlds better than what we had in 08/10.

Agree 100%. But this offense has underachieved more often than not... while those 08/10 offenses overachieved considering the lack of talent on the O-line. Arians was a better OC than many Steelers fans give him credit for.

Probably none. They may let a few "older" players like Timmons and Gay walk, but I'd be shocked if they didn't just draft some new guys and try to get better with the core we have.

Also, the name calling stuff isn't cool around here, which is pretty widely known I think.
