How the hell does this team consistently come out slipping on their own field?

Losing footing on home turf, while the opposing teams seemingly unaffected is kind of mind blowing as well.

No no no! That’s not true. Only Steelers slip. If they would take the time to check every square inch of the field they would know which cleats are best to use. Doesn’t matter if the cleats they started with were perfect and the field worsened as the game went on. Nothing else matters because tomlin didn’t have them prepared!

Im trying to be less of an individual and more like the majority of the masses here

 

IDK if it's still an issue, but that field took a beating in November and early Dec in years past with Pitt and hosting HS playoff games.

 

Grass is great if its stable and rooted but I swear our field with the amount of play on it would be better off with field turf since it seems to be torn up and needing midyear replacement where there is no way the new sod is rooted so it moves under foot. I know players say grass all the way, but I wonder if did we reduce the number of injuries on OUR field vs field turf. I'm not talking about three rivers era turf either.

 

You know we are in huge trouble when the chants at the next home game are, "fire the equipment manager".
