I just watched this play over and over a bunch of times to see if I can side with anyone about KFP’s pocket situation one way or the other and I think both perspective hold weight. I’d need to hear Kenny or the coaches weigh in for the definitive answer.

But the more I look at this, it sure seems like the pass was thrown directly at the receiver well before Harris was even open and he broke free exactly in line of the pass to pick it and haul in the TD. Super fortunate because I’m not sure the ball would have made it to the WR on time brier the DB to disrupt the pass.

I believe Harris made KFP look great here, when the credit for the TD might almost all be on him.

I disagree. Pickett threw his receiver open. That is something an elite quarterback has to be able to do. We haven't seen him do much of that in the NFL yet, but hopefully, that is a sign of more to come.

The offense will come down to how well the players execute. Specifically at the QB and Oline positions.

    nope

not when 80% of the offense is PREDICTABLE. you need to learn about the importance of strategery. I told a friend this AM, we could have 4 HOF's on this offense.....and it would not matter w Cana-duh

Come on ....it took You a hour for You to come up with that. LoL LoL LoL. You can always tell when You're forsure You're correct, or You're just trying to be right. If You are forsure You are correct it's within minutes with a answer (and yes You were on here still) , and if You are just trying to be right, but know You probably aren't....You take awhile to come up with some comeback. LoL

I spend a lot of time on this site, but not that much. It took a minute or two to write that response after I read your latest weak argument.

I know I'm right and I know you are making stuff up to try to support your poor argument. Watch the play. There was nowhere for Pickett to step up, so the correct option was to escape. Moore wasn't engaging in some proper technique. The pass rusher had him on his heels.

I'm multitasking. Both responses really took a couple of minutes. Just because someone has the site open doesn't mean they are currently reading any particular thread.

I see you are more focused on making this personal, again, than actually sticking to the topic. Pickett had nowhere to step up and Moore was on his heels. Pickett made the smart play, in part because he recognized that his left tackle was getting beat on the play.

This is how I know you realize you have lost and have no answer for my argument. You start trolling.

Just admit it. Moore was being beaten. He as on his heels. Pickett didn't have an open receiver yet and he didn't have room to step up, so he made the smart play and escaped to buy time. It worked beautifully, too.

I don't think you know what you are talking about.

Why do you think QBs are paid vastly more than any other position? Why do you think players are paid vastly more than coaches? Coaches provide guidance. Players win games bro.

i think they saw the magic of how a good run game can make this offense work. it helped the qb. it helps every aspect of the offense. building on that would continue to help the offense and KFP and the WR's. i believe that is the plan, keep building that run game to increase the offense. that improvement came under canada. meyer helped fix the line we had and now we have given him better tools. we have added tools to the receiving game as well. upgrade TE and it would upgrade the run game which helps the offense in totality. skoronski, washington, mazi smith 1-2-3 and then a tyrique stevenson or (enter name here) will make this team better. would be a home run and canada still wouldn't get credit for any of it. thomas probably would. we shall see but that is the way i'd love to see this draft go.
