    Well if the standard is the standard Butler has his work cut out for him because DL is a hard standard to match.

    We don't know that tomin wants to switch to a 4-3. That is nothing more than fan speculation. We don't have the players to switch. Doing so would set this team back 3 years

    Yeah I'm not sure we have the personnel for it either but I think Tomlin wants to switch to it at some point. We do know for a fact that he prefers it.

    I don't want this to sound harsh, but I don't think him staying on in a consultant role is a good idea either. Whether it's Butler or someone from outside the organization they need to feel like it's their defense. If you've got DL hanging around practice and still coaching essentially, a bunch of the guys will continue to look at him as the ultimate authority. He just needs to ride off into the sunset with the honor and dignity he deserves.
