I spent some time working in Central America. In the summer people in construction would start at like 5am and work until 12:30. Just too hot

Your giving one year. Not arguing, but He's been in the league since 2017. He's been injured a lot. I like the guy, but He does us no good on the sidelines. I pray He get healthy quickly....because when he plays He good.

So Patrick Mahomes battling through a severe ankle injury is not considered injured?! What about T.J. Watt dealing with multiple ailments during his 2021 DPOY Season?! He'll, Joe Greene himself having severe nerve damage in his shoulder?! Those are, in fact, injuries.

For that matter, what is being referenced is pain tolerance. Just because one can fight off the injury in question does not mean they are pain free. It very much affects the ability to perform.

Hell, even when T.J. Watt came back a season ago, he still wasn't 100% contrary to popular belief. Took himself until the final two games of the season to get even close to it.

How many guys are 100% after the first week or 2? It’s the nfl, most guys are playing with various “ailments”. Obviously in the context of football when we talk “injuries” we’re talking the kind of ailments that keep guys from playing. There’s no excuses if you’re out there playing.

What I’m challenging is this idea that Kazee is “always injured”. In 6 seasons he’s only missed significant time twice. In 6 seasons he’s played in all of his teams games 4 times. I don’t doubt that he’s gets nicked and bruised as does every other nfl player, but he doesn’t deserve the “injury prone” label because he’s tweaked an ankle in training camp imo.
Yea it’s all good, I just don’t agree with “he’s been injured a lot” opinion. He’s played in every game for 4/6 seasons. Last years wrist injury was a fluke wrist/arm injury during the last preseason game. Even with missing 8 games last year he’s played in about 80% of the possible games played for his career.

"Always injured" eh?! Pretty sure I said too consistent with them. Different terminology.

Regardless my point still stands about Kazee. Being injured within the past three seasons is nothing new given the history. In addition, unless he possess some form of magic elixir, more often than not, players who are 30 or over do tend to have a higher occurring frequency of injuries.

Overall, seeing Kazee down is something that, while being horrible for him, isn't all that surprising. The past thre seasons are the most recent and, due to the increased regularity of him being injured, shouldn't qualify him for being reliable from a health standpoint.

I don’t think him tweaking an ankle that he says he could practice on is “horrible” for him or the team. The point doesn’t stand.

I wouldn’t be surprised at a report of any nfl player tweaking an ankle.

An injury for any player is not a fun experience; hence the term down being used to describe the feeling of, not the outcome.

At any rate, this has dragged on long enough. What is known is that Kazee has been prone to injury within the past three seasons. In addition, he is not getting any younger either. Add the fact he has a potential out in 2024 and Kazee's days in the Black n Gold are likely numbered anyhow.

Given how Isaiah Simmons has switched positions, I would look to him as a SS option heading into 2024.

What is known is that he tweaked an ankle that he’s said is not serious and won’t keep him from being ready for game 1. The insistence on calling him “injury prone” seems passive aggressive and a bit disrespectful in my opinion.

    Neither passive nor disrespectful.

I am merely reporting a fact. Previous three years of evidence supports he is becoming less available.

I wonder if he may have some asthma conditions, last week was a tough one in Western Pa high humidity. I bet players
lost weight last week. Now this week add pads.

You’re cherry picking the facts to put a negative label on a guy. Why? You could use the same logic and say that TJ is prone to injury now since he missed 7 games last season and will be 29 approaching 30 this season.

I said previous three. T.J. Watt has been dinged up but not nearly as injured.

At any case, this silliness has run its course. Hate to do this my man but peace.

“Not nearly as injured” equates to 1 less significant injury. Watt has 5/6 seasons with no major injury and Kazee has 4/6.

You should’ve bowed out awhile ago my man
