I ranked the last 20 years success of the steelers and we are spoiled, compared to cheatriots of course. I became a fan in 1995. I ranked based on SB wins first, then conference championships, then playoff wins, then playoff total if tied with wins. It's no wonder Ohio is bitter LOL

Keep the faith next year looks promising!

Pats 24 playoff wins 10 losses, 4 superbowls 7 Afc championships

Steelers 17 playoff wins 11 losses, 2 SB wins, 4 AFC championships

Packers 17 wins 13 losses, 2 SBs, 3 NFC championships

    Broncos 12 playoff wins, 8 losses, 2 SB’s, 3 AFC championships

Giants 10 wins 6 losses, 2 SB, 3 NFC championships

Ravens 15 wins 8 losses, 2 sbs, 2 AFC championships

Seahawks 12 wins 10 losses, 1 SB, 3 NFC championships

    Colts 14 wins 14 losses , 2 AFC championships, 1 SB

Rams 6 wins 4 losses, 1 SB, 2 NFC championships

Saints 7 wins 5 losses, 1 SB, 1 NFC championship

Cowboys 6 wins 8 losses 1 SB, 1 NFC championship

Bucs 5 wins 6 losses, 1 SB, 1 NFC championship

Eagles 11 wins 12 losses, 1 NFC championship

    49ers 9 wins 8 losses, 1 NFC championship

Panthers 8 wins 6 losses, 1 NFC championship

Cards 6 wins 3 losses, 1 NFC championship

Falcons 5 wins 8 losses, 1 NFC championship

Titans 5 wins, 5 losses, 1 AFC championship

Raiders 4 wins 3 losses, 1 AFC championship

Bears 3 wins 4 losses, 1 NFC championship

    Jets 7 wins 7 losses

    Vikings 6 wins 10 losses

    Jaguars 5 wins 6 losses

    Chargers 4 wins 7 losses

    Dolphins 3 wins 7 losses

    Redskins 2 wins 5 losses

    Texans (2002) 2 wins 3 losses

    Chiefs 1 win 7 losses

    Bills 1 win 4 losses

Bengals 0 wins 7 losses LOL

Lions 0 wins 5 losses LOL

Browns 0 wins 1 loss LOL

Just want to keep people in perspective who get mad that we have not gotten to a championship/SB in awhile. Imagine if you were a Bagel/Brown fan? lol

I hear that a lot. People ask how I'd feel if I were a Bengals fan or a Browns fan. I'd imagine being a Browns fan would suck. I sure as hell am not a Bengals fan! They're a special kind of blind & stupid. I'm a Steelers fan. With our players & our organization, I just expect to win. I don't know if playoff wins/losses have anything to do with that.
I don't think we're spoiled when it comes to the whole team- but I do think we're kinda spoiled when it comes to our defense. We had the Steel Curtain. We the best defense ever & it's hard not to be spoiled. It's hard not to compare. But I don't think any team will ever have a defense like that again- including us. (Unfortunately.)

We had a very special team with those defenses. Those guys just don't come around very often

It is great that the Steelers have had such success. Last 5 years, not so much. Makes us all hungry for more. But, beyond the playoff success, there are other reasons why we choose to be fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I look at the earlier post and say, well, if I was a Browns fan, then I would switch. But in Baseball, I like to root for the Orioles, Pirates, and Phillies. While the Phillies won 1 and lost 2 WS in the last 25 years, I think they may have lost more games than the other two (at least that's my perspective). Sometimes it's hard to switch. I'm just glad that the Steelers have a first rate organization, embody a "blue-collar" work ethic, and for the most part, do not tolerate discretions of players (think Santonio Holmes and Bam Morris).

I know me and BFT are cubs fans. Been miserable up until last year. When you stick by a team long enough it's amazing when they win

The Bagels/Browns don't have Ben. We should have won another Super Bowl the last seven years.:smiley1:

Green Bay has the best QB in Aaron Rodgers according to most media types, he has only won 1 Super Bowl. My point is you need a complete team, the Steelers defense has been in transition also.

In all seriousness, the top of that list should have an * next to it.

Yes, we Steelers fans are spoiled by perhaps the greatest franchise in all of sports. The best part of it is that our organization seems to do it the right way.

Yea and we can be on our way to the AFCCG this week if Toussaint doesn't cough it up or we could have been watching the Bungle Broncos last week if Hill doesn't put it on the ground.. That's football though.

Any fan base of any consistent winning organization tends to be spoiled, you win a lot and become accustomed to it.

Organizations that do not win a lot, fans are not used to winning and therefore do not expect to win as much as fans of winning clubs expect to win.

We have 11 playoff losses, the Browns only have 1. If it was the Russians, they would say we were a bunch of losers and they were 11 times better than us.
