Watching this guy is fun and he reminds me a little of Bam Morris.

If we assume the Oline personnel and scheme will stay the same..I am trying to figure out who the Steelers have on the roster that best emulates a runner that will not dance but just slash North-South between the tackles and fall forward.

The way the Oline is getting pushed back (I assume they are not stacking the box) I dont even see Bell being effective with his hesitation to look for a hole.

Maybe this is because Ben is not under center as much.

I think Watt should maybe be featured more to get 2-3 yards.

The ultimate would be if the Steelers could tire out the D line and the give the rookie out of Maryland some touches or screens in the 2nd half.

Or start with the rookie and then pound with Snell.

Maybe this week the Steelers could work on this added dimension as the weather gets worse.

I see Najee Harris being that style of runner at the next level.

First the O-line needs to make a hole hell I’d even settle for a crease, but with that being said Conner is by far our most complete back. He is also the best short yardage back we have because he can make yards after contact. When we get inside the 5 Conner should get the ball 4 times, however he needs to be healthy to do this. I dislike Snell as a short yardage back, it almost appears like he runs with his eyes closed. As far the rookie out of Maryland, don’t have any idea why he is not getting more touches. Only thing I can think of is Tomlin doesn’t trust him on the field. Samuels in my opinion is the least impressive back we have and I have no idea why he sees the field. Rotation should look like this - Conner starter Snell back up. I have been very impressed with Snells receiving skills out of the backfield.
