Bethel is clearly not looking back to the ball when the contact occurs. He doesn’t start to look back until contact has been made and Claypool is into his nosedive. I wouldn’t like that to be called PI against us, but if the rule (per the former officials who have commented) is that it’s PI if there’s foot to foot contact when the defender is not looking at the ball, then it was PI.

Still, it was a close play and the contact was minimal, and at some point Claypool has to figure how NOT to be on the ground every single time a ball travels to him more than 15-20 yards downfield.
