Loudermilk now getting practice time with the OLBs this week.

I don't see it as a positive career move when the team starts allowing you to practice the position you run on scout teams during the regular season.

I would assume Green played some FB last year on the scout team. If Green is a no show for Special Teams on Friday, I don't think he has much chance making the team.

This was posted earlier in the thread. Tomlin said the idea of Green playing fullback started with him playing the role of Ricard on the scout team before a game against the Ravens last season.

Your overall point isn't a bad one, including the bit about watching how he is used Friday. If he gets some real reps at fullback and on special teams, maybe this is legitimate.

When I saw a tidbit about Loudermilk I thought it’s one of two things

It’s position flexibility and that increases his chances

It’s we need to find some use for him or he’s gone

    Ditto Green

Here is a fact...the coach that cut Him...was not the coach that drafted Him, and that happens many times in the NFL. LoL Fact. LoL :lolol: You are the only person on the board that loves to say fact.....when in fact You don't know if it's a fact. LoL LoL LoL. Again for the millionth time ...Your opinion does not make a fact. It's ok.

Here is my post about Jones and Richardson.

I believe that was the post you mean to respond to when you posted this.

Now go back and read my post. I did not use the word fact in that post at all, so your claim that I presented an opinion as fact is clearly false.

Furthermore, making a strong declarative statement, which is what I do, is not the same thing as presenting opinion as fact. I'm sorry you don't understand the difference. The only thing I claimed as a fact was that you quoted the wrong post, which is true. Please do better next time. Thank you.

Nah. The fact is I made the same quote function mistake that you made. Here is the correct quote.

Despite your false claim to the contrary, I made no use of the word "fact" in this post. I made a clear, definitive statement in which I shared my opinion, which is far better supported by the facts than yours. Richardson played in five games for the Steelers and he never started a game in the NFL. Jones played in 50 games for the Steelers, starting 35 of them. That includes 15 starts for a playoff team in 2015. He wasn't good, but no, he wasn't useless.

You were wrong about the larger point. You were wrong in claiming that I presented opinion as fact. Making a clear, definitive claim is not the same as presenting opinion as fact. I am sorry that you don't understand that. Please do better next time.

Interesting and being more athletic the Legs this seems like something they want to implement into the offense.

Your lack of integrity never fails to rear its ugly head. Note that I admitted my error, but you can't bring yourself to admit to yours. Just do us all a favor and learn the difference between a clear, declarative statement of opinion and presenting an opinion as fact for next time.

The St. Louis Cardinals, before they moved to Arizona, had a reserve defensive back named Roy Green. Because of injuries, the Cardinals didn't have enough wide receivers for the scout team during practice, so Green started playing WR with the scout team. He was immediately blowing past DBs in practice, that the Cardinals started using him on both sides of the ball during games. Green went on the become a pro bowl wide receiver.

September 20, 1981 vs. the Redskins, Green had 115 yards receiving, a TD, and an interception.

My point is, if you can put a player in a position where it helps the team, you have to give it a shot.

    Which hole?

The twelve types of holes in engineering: blind hole, through hole, interrupted hole, simple hole, counterbole hole, spotface hole, countersink hole, counterdrill hole, tapered hole, screw clearane hole, tapped hole, and threaded hole.

It wasn't me. I had a bad habit of bending the rules in my writing when I was a student. Also, I wasn't talking about grammar. I was talking about rhetoric.

Please support your claim that I don't understand some aspect of this argument. If you can't do that, it is just another falsehood, just like your claim that I presented my opinion as fact.

Also, you don't stop reading. You just start cluttering threads with nonsense rather than just admit you made a poor argument.

I can't take credit for Fat Slash; Max Stark has been throwing that name around at training camp.
