Kazee needs surgery

According to Dulac. Hopefully he will be able to return.

 

On a positive note DJ and Watt are okay. Sucks about Kazee. I thought he could fill that Mike Hilton role for us this year.

 

they were using him in a few different ways. Hopefully he will only be out 1-2 months.

Sounds like Kazee might be one of those 8 Week Long IR candidates.

 

Wow ... that's a big setback. I guess, this will be, yet another targeted position ... after cuts. Please, don't keep a player that we can't use

Kazee was playing solid. Hopefully his injury time is limited.

 

I wonder if this will open up a spot for Elijah Riley, he has some NFL experience and made some plays in yesterday's game.

 

It might, but Kazee is a big loss.

It seems they had big plans for Kazee, especially in the big nickel package, maybe they keep Riley for now.

 

Technically players can return this season four games after placed on IR. Of course, depending on the extent of his injury he made need more time than that.

I doubt we will see him back that quickly given that he needs surgery. I'd say they will be very lucky to see him the second half of the season, if at all.

 

I would think so as well. I've been waiting to see a release on the specifics.

 

Dulac reporting that Kazee will go on IR, but is expected back at some point this season.

This is actually encouraging. If they get Kazee back for even the final 12 games, that seems like a win at this point.
