Karlos Dansby

I know another sign this guy thread he may have a few good years left at 32 years old, he had 6 sacks last season for the Dolphins. The Steelers need depth at LB we know once fat Lamarr Woodley gets another nagging injury we are in trouble, Chris Carter showed nothing when he got a chance to play. And Dick LeBeau doesn't play rookies much so even if they draft a stud OLB or ILB he won't contribute much in 2013 except on special teams. The Steelers will get some salary cap relief in June from releasing Willie Colon an extra 5 million I think. Some of these veterans their asking price is too high even though their skills have declined like James Harrison.

I'd love to have Dansby, that guy can flat out play. Woodley being fat has no bearing on signing Dansby, they play different positions (OLB vs MLB).

 

I would rather take a flyer on McClain....cheaper..and if works out long term solution.

I suggested him in a trade situation last year with the Dolphins
for Mike Wallace, The Dolphins get there man and we replace Larry Foote.
Didn't work out, but time goes on.

 

No...why replace one older guy who knows the system with another one who doesnt/etc.

 

Because Dansby is 10 times the player Foote is

 

unfortunately here the sistem count 11 times than the player value

System seems more important than individual talent around here. Its a shame that it has come to that.
