Regarding these personnel changes.

They offered Fields. He got more elsewhere. We don't know yet if upgrade or downgrade.

Fans have been calling for more emphasis on Warren, saying he is the better RB. Now Warren is the team veteran in the RB room. Fans should be thinking upgrade.

DJ, Pickens had to go. Jefferson never should have been here. This room should be an upgrade with DK, CA3, Wilson, and Woods.

LT- fans wanted Moore gone, he's gone. Fans want Jones to play LT, he's the LT. Better be upgrade.

Frazier is an upgrade at Center.

There are still some wait and see positions. QB, OG, RT, but a lot of fans got their wish with how this offense looks this season. Better be an upgrade.

It was not a problem under Cowher for Ben...Top 3 in PPG in the first quarter in 2004 and 2005...Hard to score more points when your head coach is too conservative(with too many run in the middle or short screen in the first few drives) and likes to keep the game close way too much(I saw a stat last year that the Steelers played the most close games since 2007 in the regular season)

Whiz was a pretty good OC for young Ben.

Curious, what does that start you quite mean to you? Most close games since 2007. Not sure the point you're making there.

His point is that it was easier to win low-scoring games back then than it is now because of safety rules since the middle of the 2010 season (can't hit the receiver in the middle and things like that, etc.). Also one of my biggest problems with our offense, and this was also the case in the Killer B's era, is our offense rarely has a fast start in the first quarter. They're rarely up 10-0 in the first quarter.

Rarely since Bruce Arians left we started the game with a touchdown on the first drive of the game. If you look at Kyle Shanahan or Andy Reid teams, no matter what QB they have, they're always strong on the first drive of the game and first quarter....For Tomlin,the first quarter don't matter much for him for some reason if you look at his comment back in 2023 after a game

I actually thought Najee was the better back, and Moore the better LT.
