Rudolph played well enough to get interest from other teams besides the Steelers. He's pretty much gone. I don't see him signing with Steelers even if they match offers from other teams.

I’m thinking just the opposite based on the few things Mason has said lately

With the Steelers propensity to hold onto backups because they are their “guy”, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rudolph wants to come back.

Rudolph might have set himself up for a multiple year job, at a minimum as a backup collecting some good money. There is no guarantee if you start over with another team and fall flat.

I’d put Trubisky’s chances of returning at close to 0. He was that bad. And everyone saw it. He also doesn’t cost much to cut, so why keep him around? The Steelers forced him to add years to his existing deal with no extra money last offseason, or get cut, so it’s not like they value him highly.

And I think Rudolph stays if the Steelers give him Mitch-type money. Yeah he’ll be signing as a backup, but he has to know there’s a decent chance he’ll start. How many other teams will give him that opportunity? Denver maybe. That’s about it.

Kaboly has no idea if he is staying or not and pulled this 30% figure out of his ass. It’s that time of year where idle speculation and clickbait is passed off as news

Best job in the world is to be a highly paid backup QB.

And I see the opposite based on what he has said

But I also a year ago thought Harvin would be a good punter
