He could be a guy there in the middle of the first round when the Steelers pick.

 

i would like to have a more sure thing then gilbert in rd 1

 

I am of the opinion that we have issues at these positions:

On offense:

WR - Sanders leaving and Cotchery maybe not back. We need players here.

TE - Love Heath and what Spaeth has done since returning, but we need to draft Heath's replacement to sit for a couple of years and be a role player.

Depth at every other position except QB. RB and Oline will all be later round considerations.


On defense:

OLB - Lots of questions this offseason, but none are bigger than Worilds and Woodley.

ILB - Williams and Garvin are young. We have no idea if Spence will ever play and Foote it getting old.

CB - Ike, Gay, and Allen. That is all we have. We need some talent here.


Willing to pass;

Dline....Hood, Heyward, Woods, McLendon, Keisel for depth, and a young kid Arnfelt or N. Williams. I am okay with that group.

S....Thomas, Troy, W. Allen, and Golden. If we keep more CBs I may be okay with just that 4 as a unit. Ventrone may also be in the mix.

 

I like what I read on Gilbert, he seems like just what we need, but I think we go offense in the first and there's no chance he slides to the 2nd.

 

I have a feeling it's roby in the 2nd. they like buckeyes. roby's got speed. they need that.

 

And Jarvis Jones was supposed to be a sure thing what has he done? Gilbert Has 6 int 2 returned for TDs this season he's 6ft 200lbs with 6 career kick returns for TDs.

 

i don't know i would have took eifert last year and now i would take amaro , but if gilbert is good to start immediately ... i'm ok

 

We spent a first on OLB last year. Just think you get yourself in trouble with that much money and draft picks in one position.
We need the big wr or a te early to make our red zone offense better. Or take a corner

 

And remember Decastro struggled his first year and played well this year.
Jones will be better next year
